    I didn't start to lose my hair until I decreased my protein about 3 weeks ago. I asked my nutritionist about it and she said hair was pure protein and my body was revolting because it was not getting enough. Not sure if that is why, but good information.

    I broke my stall by saying the heck with it and not focusing on a protein number and trying different things and reducing my calories. I lost 7 pounds last week, can't wait to see what this week brings

    218 today, up 2 pounds from last week.... Ugh ate really good, but my body won't let go of the weight. Under 60 cal, 10-15 carbs a day, 90-100 G protein. Frustrated!

  7. I was having such a hard time finding the low carb and high enough protein that I now only get it from food as well. Primarily shrimp, eff whites, beef Jerky, lunch meat and string cheese. I get at least 90-100 a day.
  8. Look at these amazing photos! Everyone looks incredible. I am only 10 weeks out and have lost 3 pant sizes and 49 pounds.

    My dr does not want me to eat more than 600 a day. I could easily get there by adding an extra string cheese or whole boiled eggs instead of just the whites.

    I've had many ups and gowns to, starting yesterday I reduced calories to under 500 instead of under 600 (nutritionist said that us Mac calories). Get all my water, just not losing as quick as I want, need to lose 15+ by the end of the month.
  12. It advertises great results and was hoping it would work to keep me from having a skin issue. He is the same guy who created p90x. The program is pretty expensive, but is cheap on eBay.

    Addicted to carbs....

    I track everything on mfp and before input anything in my mouth I ask myself if I want to record it..... I have been able to stay under 10 carbs a day for 3 weeks now and feel pretty good most of the time. If I get tired I drink a little 5 hour energy and it does the trick. The first few days of low carbs were hard, but my doc wanted me to lose 28 pounds in 30 days, so I had to figure out how to do it and cutting carbs has done it for me. I only eat shrimp, egg whites, lunch meats and beef jerky. Pretty boring, but list 13 pounds in 2 weeks :-). I am at 9.5 weeks, sleeved 12/26

    All of my December sleevers...

    I an staying in ketosis by eating 10 or less grams of carb a day. I am finally able to get all my protein from food instead of shakes :-). It is really hard sometimes, but I find that I lose more in ketosis than any other time. My body will tolerate just about anything, but I primarily eat egg whites, shrimp, lunch meat, and beef jerky. It is pretty boring, but I am glad the scale is moving. :-)
  16. I've just been walking on my treadmill and have toned a lot, not seeing any saggy skin yet and I have lost 40 pounds. I worked my arms out tonight, trying to tone the back of them, my lower arms are lean.

    Energy ..

    Sometimes I use half a 5 hour energy and it does the trick for several hours. I was sleeved on 12/26. I also find that I have higher energy when I walk on my treadmill. I did try samples of ripped freak, and it gave me enough energy to walk for an hour versus a half hour.

  20. Try to up your protein if possible I am at 90-100g per day, under 600 cal and keep my carbs under 10g per day. It broke my stall immediately. Make sure you get 64 oz of water to flush it all out.

    Weighed 228 last Saturday and 220 today. Surgery day 261 Today 220 Lost 41 Doing a happy dance. Need to be at 208 in 3 weeks to meet doctors goal of 60 pounds in 90 days.
