I work at a hospital and I will be off 3 weeks to the day. Once I lift over 10 lbs again I'm going back to work... One I financially don't have a choice. Bord? Na... Our program includes PT pre and post op so ill be hitting the gym 3 days after surgery....

March 20!! I've had my date since dec! My insurance company covers the procedure 100%. I could have gone feb 20 buy I needed a few extra weeks to build time off from work... 6 weeks and its time' so excited! -

My gall bladder was removed 10 years ago and I still have dumping.... I've learned to live with it also just being normal... My husband and BFF's know when I say "I have a stomach ach" to MOVE out of my way... I too am hoping it hours away after surgery.... But I agree maybe ill won't have the constipation issues post op... Being sleeved on 3/20!! Woot woot! -

Either brush up on your Spanish or make sure you have a translator on your phone... After your doc and RN leave for the night you will only have Spanish speaking staff... My friend was sleeved by Alvarez in Mexico she never had issues other than the language barrier after he and his staff left... Good luck! You will be great! -
GO RAVENS!! I'm going to two party's so I'm taking Protein shakes... I'm preop and less than 6 weeks til surgery. I have been thinking on how I'm gonna handle all the good today.. And I think just take it min by min. I'm not cooking so I'm just gonna use my Protein Shakes and fresh veggies. Happy Super Bowl!

Well today is my last preop test!! My EDG!! I'm a little nervous but ill be fine! I'm scheduled for 3/20!! Just a few more weeks... Like ummm 6 weeks but who is counting???ME! Yesterday I saw the psychologist she was nice and very positive! One last appt with my doc and NUT to get preop diet plan and that's it! Everyone have a great day!!

I've been on fmla before and yes but it goes to HR and your boss does not see it. It's confidential. Fmla protects your job.

Keep your head up... This is not a race... Remember for 3-6 months you will be swollen.... It will come off... Also I agree with dealing with deployment and surgery... Get to a physcologist ASAP! Save your self some headache... Journal your feelings about food, deployment, diets, children everything... Just start writing don't think about what your going to say and it will come out you will feel better... Keep us posted! -
