The journey has just begun...
raggmopp68 replied to raggmopp68's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was telling someone the other day that I would LOVE to NOT feel hungry all of the time. I can't imagine what that must be like. I can't wait. Thanks for your update, more excited all the time. -
gimme a hoop -- I will jump through it

AMEN, Sister!! Hoops are last thing we need. Not like this is just a passing thought to have major surgery. Do they have any idea how serious it must be for anyone to come to this decision? I will hopefully get a surgery date on Feb 21 and be on my way, but until then it's a waiting game. Good luck to you!! -

It's Feb 15...How did your surgery go? I don't have a dtae yet, I'll see the doctor on Feb 21. Hope all is terrific post-op. Be well:) -
Seems that you all have one or more of the same issues. I don't have any of those, but I do have MS. My right leg has incredible tone which makes it very difficult to walk. I use a cane due to balance issues and falling often. I am terribly lucky to not have pain. I do have restless legs which is under control as long as I take my Mirapex. I refuse to take any of the MS therapies due to the side effects and the fact that they don't make any of the current symptoms go away.I can't wait for my surgery because carrying all this extra weight makes it even more difficult to move a round and it's exhausting. Thanks for this group.

Awesome!!! I can't wait to join you in that excitement. I too have clothes that I thought would just stay in the container under the bed forever. Now I have hope to actually wear them again.
