I'm 2/6 as well. Do you start clears Monday?

Yes horrible headache day 1 & Day 5 omg it was awful. I just took Vitamins, more Protein Drink, & Tylenol. I'm on Day 6 now, then Clears on Sunday. 2/6 Surgery in Mexico!

Yep I'm on 2 Proteins & salad for 7 days then clear! I don't think I'd make it 14 days girl! I'm anxious for 3 day just to see if it's as bad as they say...

Sweet! I fly in 2/5 at Mi Doctor with.Cabrera/Venezuela. I'm going with my cousin. So your on 2 week or 1 Protein diet?

I'm a 2/6 sleever as well. The diet is NOT as hard as it sounds. Everytime I get a craving I get sad & emotional because it'll be months before I have can taste those flavors again. But then I remember, I'm getting sleeved in a week! Whoo hoo! Then I don't care. It's SUCH a short time & so glad mine is 7 daysfor due to BMI.

Yes it's a must for some employers. Also, it protects you whenever you have a serious medical condition, the federal government protects your job for up to 12 weeks while your off. ALSO there is intermittent FML (on same form) where your Dr. Can check that you may have reoccurring appts or side effects. Then you can call in whenever you are not feeling well after sleeve without punishment or discipline. I ALWAYS submit FML paperwork even if it's just a week.

O.M.G. day 2 of my 7 day protein Pre Op then 3 day clear. I have MAJOR headaches due to this drastic change in diet! I'm SOOOO tired even after my Adderall meds. The diet I don't mind so much (yet) as I'm vegetarian & love salads. I went to Aldi & they're version of Crystal Light is Fit & Active brand, to be diluted in 2qt of water. Super cheap ... great value! Make a pitcher & your ready to go. Also their Fit & Active dressings are low fat, carbs, cals & so good! I rotate dressings for variety! It's super affordable & I am happy I saved a bunch of $$ going there.

Yes, I work in HR so I was ALL over it. I'm taking only 8 days but working 1/2 days for a while. If it's too much I'll request more.

You know..., I decided not to tell barely ANYONE because when I first started research EVERYONE told me horrible things with NO basis behind it or valid info. I decided I was just going to make my decision as an adult & not hurt/stress my Mom & Dad as they both have health conditions. It's SOOOO hard but that's why I have this blog now & like 4 good friends to talk to. God put this opportunity in my lap, I didn't go looking for it. So I'm also trusting in Him.

It's the first day of our new lives! Of course we're all anxious worry stress warts... but the sooner we get it over with we can get back to being US AGAIN! If you bail, you'll always wish you'd taken the opportunity. I wish I'd done this YEARS ago!
