I am 8 days postop and I was just informed at my drs appt that I need two more weeks of liquids. However at this point they told me if I can strain broth from pretty much anything, then I can eat it????!
So being creative with foods I fried (with pam) potatoes, hot links, green onions, tomatoes, black olives s and chile peppers and I added water to a simmer. Strained it. My husband ate my creation in a burrito and I had the broth! It was beautiful!!!!
