Hi...How is your journey going so far?? I'm VERY interested in the Lap-Band system--especially since my insurance now covers it.

I was under the impression that a person had to lose/diet before surgery. Please keep in touch to let me know about your surgical experience and post-op as well. I'm considering this surgery as well.

When is your banding date? Also, regarding the diet--how much are you supposed to lose before the surgery?

How's your progress since you last posted in September? A co-worker of mine is getting closer to lap-band reality(ins. approval, going to seminar then will be referred to a surgeon etc.). So I'm following her journey as well. I'm going to get organized after my college classes are done for summer and see all of what I have to do in order to get approved also. What a great inspiration all of you are to share your stories and photos!:wub: -

How did you do with your surgery? We are both around the same weight and I was curious how it went. This procedure intrests me alot--hopefully, one day I'll be able to have it done as well and be able to share my story too. Take care!!
