Grain Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
hinportland posted a topic in Vegetarian, vegan, raw foods
http://www.texanerin.com/2012/04/grain-free-peanut-butter-chocolate-chip.html I would use unsweetened dark chocolate (lots of anti-oxidants!) and either agave or Splenda. Worth a shot if you need a sweets fix. -
Lucky you! Ha ha

Sorry. Insurance companies (including Medicare) suck. I hope you get an answer soon.

Just How Much Is Everyone Exercising?
hinportland replied to Ready4success's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I try to walk for an hour on the treadmill, and I try to increase my speed, but every time I do I regret it. I went from 3 mph to 3.2 and ended up pulling a groin muscle and getting blisters. Exercise does not come easy to me. I've also tried yoga in the past, which I LOVED, but it was too hard on the arthritis in my knees. I'm gonna try it again after I lose another 20 lbs. They say the arthritis gets better when you're not carrying as much weight. -
Wouldn't your doctor know? I thought their insurance people knew all about that stuff.

Tofu lasagna noodles (different, but an acceptable substitute, and very low cal!) 2 1/2 cups Marinara sauce Filling: 1 cup Shredded chicken (cooked) 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 1 cup Mozzarella cheese 1 pint Ricotta cheese 10 oz Frozen Spinach (thawed and squeezed to remove moisture) 1 egg Mix all the filling ingredients together. Spoon 1/4 - 1/2 cup on the end of each noodle, roll up, place in baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Pour marinara sauce over the top. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. This would probably be great with delicious pesto sauce if the marinara upsets your stomach.
