    right after my surgery

Thanks for all the support!! It really helped. YOu do get to feeling your the only one with this problem . You read about everyones weight loss. and after you get on a scale and see a three pound gain. Well, I started my own pitty party. I'm looking forward to my fill in 1 1/2 weeks. thanks again. julie
  5. Hi, I had the lapband put on on may 17th. I lost 9 lbs in the liquid only stage and now Im eating again and already I have gained back 3 lbs. I havent had a fill yet. but Im feeling depressed. I can eat like Ive always been able to eat. the only difference Ive found is that some foods are hard to get to go down, basically some meats. Is this normal. when do people start to feel full on small amounts of food? Im being careful not to drink with my food. I guess I was just hoping for no hunger! thanks, Julie:phanvan

    just got banded

Thanks Midge. Im so happy to hear its normal. WOW , I feel a bunch better. I would be freaking out if I had gained 12 lbs. so when are we suppose to weigh? and how are you doing besides the pressure? did your doctor say it will go away? julie
  8. HI, My name is Julie. I was just banded last wednesday May 16th 07. Im feeling pretty good , but a bit discouraged. I'm really not liking the no eating thing and I got on the scale today and gained a pound. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???Im drinking sugar free juice , tea, chicken broth and Ive ahd a couple pop cycles. Is it normal to feel some pressure in your stomach at first. I dont usually feel hungry sense the surgery, but I feel like I have drank to much, kind of uncomfortable. is that normal?? I went to Dr Ortez in Mexico. It was a great experience and everything went well . Everyone there was really nice and his team seams to do ALOT of lap bands. I would feel alot better if the scale wasnt going up. that is so like my body though.Any advice? thanks julie
