I am floored at how long the process takes in the US. I am having my surgery in the DR. Went in, spoke to my doctor and he was ready to operate with two weeks. Since then I have been the one to move the surgery date twice. To tell you the truth, I feel like Im missing out on the counseling part even though I am 100% sure of what I want. Best if luck to all!

I was wondering if any of you have used theses vitamins. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Hair loss prevention is a must for me. Thanks!

Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that I am down 4 lbs. Yay!

So, my doctor said I should lose 10 lbs. before surgery. I didn't... I gained 4, and my surgery is on Feb. 12. I have been eating the stuff I like, kind of like a "last meal" situation. I have to see him on Friday. Do you all think he is going to cancel my surgery?

Last night I didnt sleep well.... For the first time I was worried and nervous. I think it had to do with my mother telling me she didnt agree with the surgery. I dont understand why she would tell me that 3 days away from surgery. The ironic thing is that her and my dad are paying for it....

Thanks deltadown! I am getting sleeved on feb. 12 in the Dominican Rep. My doctor did not give me a pre-op doet and thanks to this forum I started one. I dont know if he will give me any info post-op, but thanks to you I am covered!

Single, 31 and getting sleeved on feb. 12. I hope the sleeve gets us all out of this group!!

Thanks for all your responses all! My doctor told me to lose 10 lbs. but never put me on a liquid diet. However, I put myself on it because it seems like the right thing to do based on all te things that I have read. Im taking Special K protien drinks and Crystal Light. And of course, lots of water. Thanks soooo much again!

EVERYONE WILL ALWAYS HAVE AN OPINION. Be it if its a bew car you want to get, a cel phone, or even hipsters vs. thongs. People will always talk. Only people that have been overweight understand the cross we carry. And thank God that we have so many diets, regimens and procedures to choose from bc as we all know, some work wonders for some but bot for others. We have chosen the sleeve, and God willing we will never struggle with weight again!

I tell people on a need to know basis, but if a came across someone who is struggling with weight, I would tell them.

I am a long way from WA but keep up the good work! You look awesome!
