Yes, I totally do - I am not sure what it is if the food/drink is too heavy but it's worse then eating a huge turkey meal. Sorry can help regarding the why but I am also interested to know if someone knows why.

canadagurl replied to chunk's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi Kiwi63 Congrats on your decision in almost 3 months out and don't regret it for a moment!! I'm sure your doctor with treat you if need be - I haven't been to my family doc about te surgery and have had absolutely no issues. I went through AHS and had my surgery in Red Deer great team there for sure!! Keep me posted on your progress and if you need anything. Maybe we can meet one of these days - because I haven't been able to find any support group or anything here -

Lose weight before surgery?
canadagurl replied to JustJess1211's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon made me go on a liquid diet for 30 days before surgery as my liver needed to shrink. However, I am thankful that I was on the liquid diet becuz post op eating/ drinking is different and this prepared me mentally and physically for the changes. -

I think I'm going to buy it - it sounds great and I think post op / healthy choices going forward it will be utilized enough to compensate the cost. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and info!
