YEAH!!!!! we can be band buddies.... I am having to learn all the banster rules again.. I know i have been banded 16months but... it seems like i havent so... again I have to start over like brand new!! and I cant wait!

Anyone in NM get flooded?? Todays rain here in Alb was harsh.. we got hail and it was cold. The Rainbow after was so pretty though!

Im am very sad to hear this news. Ryan and his words were very inspirational to me and so many other on here. My prayers and thoughts go out to Patty and the family.

Well The green is gone.. woohoo... but I dont know when or if it will ever come back. I went to see the wound specialist today and thought maybe I should go see the Dr. at the wound clinic but she called in the Dr. ..... Dr..... hehe and he said that they will take good care of me, and that right on they are more worried about infection then anything else. I did ask why it looked like the outside was closing faster then the inside... He said "Well it hasnt closed, and if it does you need to come in right away and we will re open the outside wound back up" So I think I am in good hands, The wound doesnt look great but, at lest it is not full of pus and I am not running fever all the time. I think thats the main thing the Dr. was worried about. So No matter how bad I think it looks, my Dr. will think it looks better, as long as its not infected or ozzing pus. I guess I feel good about it all, its harder when its your own body and you see all the changes in it. Well thats my update just case anyone was wondering. Thank you all for everything and all your support!!!!

Oh yeah I remember you.... I am going back to the same Dr. in Pueblo for my re-banding. Hey when you come to Alb again let me know we can do lunch or something! I love meeting fellow bandsters!!

Well I finally got all my test results back from the gyno. And they want me to take some pills to help me have a period. Then after a few times of that then I will take the ultra sound again so see how that works. They didnt or couldnt give me surgery because of my port infection hole. Well with my wound, it is about less then a inch. Also I got the approval from my ins. company for the band replacement. So the Nurse from my Dr. office called and we are looking at surgery on 8/31 if my wound is healed. If not then 9/21. I guess I can wait. Its hard but I know it will be done soon and hopfully I will be a REAL bandster again!

Ugh, I still have the hole... but its much smaller.. maybe 1/2 in.. I think it will be closed by Sep. when I want to go back in for my band to be replaced!

im actually doing well with my port infection.. its slow healing but hey what can I say... Im still hanging in there.. I have about 1 inch maybe smaller hole now, and I just got approved for the band replacement! I have all this in my journal.. I should post a "real" thread about it. But thanks for asking!!!!! Hello, Today I have good hopes. I got a letter from my Ins. Co. saying they approve me for getting my lapband replaced. Now I just need this hole to heal. Once it does I am in! I just hope everything is okay with my band. I would hate to wake up without a band. I also went to my Gyno. this week and I might have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. I went and had an ultrasound test done and I will find out Aug. 2 (Wed) the results. I hope everything will be okay. I seem to say that a lot. My husband might be losing his job, The company he works for just isnt what it is anymore. I am trying to stay calm about it all. But his mom might hire him, and even though I have my own mean thoughts about her I will be on his side on what ever he goes for. I know I need to go work soon. I am scared to a little bit.. I havent had a real job in a very long time and I just feel werid about going back out there again. I think I will be able to handle it.. Grab the Bull by the Horns sorta speak LOL Well I will be back soon to let you know how my test results go.
