I'm one week post op and can't drink the protein drinks they make me so sick. I've tried powder and already made ones. The only thing I've been able to drink is regular water or vitamin water. Anyone else having this problem? -

I'm 6 days post op my Dr told me to stay on clear liquids for 2 weeks but I feel hungry -
Wal mart has something like the bullet for $20 and it works good. Best $20 I've ever spent. Congrats to all being sleeved today.

Today I took the heart burn pill my doctor prescribed and it got stuck that was around 2 pm and its not 6:30 and it still feels stuck. I can't drink anything. Has this happened to anyone else

My surgery went well. Kept me an extra night due to nausea but other then that I'm fine

I'm on 3 shakes ands I can have as much jello as I want. I'm allowed to have cottage cheese low fat of course, low fat string cheese, light yogurt and sugar free pudding. But only 6 times a day. I only got 4 in yesterday and don't feel hungry today. Hope things go smoother for everyone else -

I'm 3 days on preop diet and it has been getting better every day. -
Are you allowed to have anything other then liquids on your preop diet. I'm allowed to have cheese stick yogurt pudding and cottage cheese just no more then 6 a day, it makes it a little easier but not much. Who wants to be Eating cottage cheese when their family are having hamburgers. But so far I have not given into temptations even though its hard

Kleonetti I started my pre op diet as well. The only thing that helped me was to take a nap at dinner time. Its been an extremely hard day. I didn't give in though I'm sure it won't be as bad after a few days

I started my preop diet today. I feel really sick to my stomach. Is that normal?

16 more days until surgery. Im a little nervous but not much. The preop diet starts tuesday and i know that is going top suck because I cook for my family.

I went to my preop appointment yesterday it went well. My boyfriend has also started his weight loss journey. even though he will be sleeved after me we are kind of doing this together, and we support each other

I think it is awesome when couples can do the journey together. he would have started at the same time as me but he didnt have insurance at that time.. He is also required to do more then what i had to do.. He has 6 month weight checks and he has to do a sleep study. I didnt have to do the sleep study and I only had four months of weight checks. We both have the same doctor..

Did anyone have an ivc filter put in to help blood clots? I went to see my cardiologist today and he said the surgeon recommends it.

Pinkie did they give you the option of later having it removed?

I think I may ask my doctor to give me the shot. I don't think I want the ivc it sounds scary from the research of it

I'm kind of nervous about it but I told him that I would get it. I will just have bit removed when I'm suppose to.
