I HAVE COME FULL CIRCLE! I HAVE EVLOVED!

You look amazing! Very inspirational. Thank you doe sharing.
  3. My pain level is okay. The worst part is when I get up I have to maneuver myself so my incisions don't pulls. That and the fact the it feels like I have done a bazillion crunches is all the trouble I am having.
  4. I think they know something is up. My Siamese Cooper just lays beside me or at the end of the bed watching over me.
  5. I was sleeved Monday at about 11:39. Very little nausea. Feel like I've done a bazillion crunches And every time I sip my water I get a huge air bubble. I walk it off and then I'm fine until my next little sip.

    Finally my day!

Thanks all! I'm all hooked up now. Should be headed back to surgery soon!
  7. It's finally here! Checked in at the hospital waiting for the nurse to give me my IV, a cocktail for the ball of nerves that have taken up residence in my tummy and something for nausea.
  8. Pre-op testing done! Now to wait until Monday for the big day!

I hate my pre op diet!

My surgeon's practice has a few different pre-op diets they use. What they tell you is determined by BMI. The higher the BMI, the longer they require an all liquid diet. My BMI dropped from 39 to 36 in the past six months. So I have to do a two week pre-op - first week is 2-3 shakes a day plus a meal (not Chinese buffet - docs own words. Apparently some patients think they can drink their shakes And then go to the buffet for their one meal.). Starting Tuesday I will go to full liquids and then clear liquids next Sunday for my surgery on Monday.
  11. Ten days and counting!

    July 2013 sleevers

I just looked at my count down app - 10 days to go. Wow! I have been on my pre-op diet for a week (by choice) and my heart did a little flip flop when I saw the days left. I guess I may be hit by the nerves after all.

    Protein shots

My doc says they are a must the first week. It's going to be a little pricey - even New Whey at Walmart is $2,97 each.
  14. Good luck July firsters! Please update us when you can.
