  1. I'm worried about whether or not I'll be able to do this for the rest of my life, and I'm worried about dying LOL I have no idea why this is a big worry, but it is. I have a band and am doing revision to the sleeve. I never had these worries with the band. Are these second thoughts/fears normal?

    Made the "Infamous" Ricotta Bake

Thank you so much I am totally craving real food. I have been eating tomato soup because it is the only thing that appeals to me and this sounds so much better!
  3. but able to get in 64oz most days. I focus on getting the fluids in, if I get in one or two Protein drinks (30g protein each) then great, but I always manage at least one a day. I can not get Vitamins and Calcium in. I am averaging only one each every day. They taste sooooo awful that I gag and feel like vomitting after I take them. I am currently using the Celebrate orange calcium and strawberry/pineapple or orange vitamins. There must be something else that is not as gagworthy? Please, a chewable bariatric Vitamin? Any one know. Also, could the tired be from not getting enough protein and vitamins? I'm assuming it is. Is nausea still common at this stage? Also, getting pulling and stretching pain (more discomfort than pain) around the incision where my port used to be and another spot about 3 inches to the left of that, but there is no incision in that spot. Also, the area where my port used to be sometimes gets hard and bloated after drinking? It doesn't hurt or anything, but I have no idea if this is normal. Other than the above, I feel good. I am seeing my dr on Wednesday and will ask him all of the same questions, but wondering if anyone had any insight in the meantime. Thanks

    Made the "Infamous" Ricotta Bake

Sounds delish, what stage does this fall under?
  5. I feel great, though I do get exhausted out of the blue, I figure this is normal? I don't have any real pain anymore, but I do feel like a stretching, or pulling sensation under the incision where my port used to be. Is that normal? It's not painful, but I do feel it. I am still having trouble getting in 64oz of fluids daily, but I do the best I can. However, today I managed to drink an 11oz protien drink in about 20 minutes...I have no idea if this is okay, normal, etc. Vitamins taste awful, how do you manage to take them multiple times per day?
  6. I have been taking the celebrate chewables, they are gross Where did you get the peach chewables? Those sound doable.

    Surgery date moved! :/

I had my date moved twice. Unfortunately, I did have a big fat burger and then suffered a horrible gall bladder attack that lasted 5 hours. After that, I didn't eat anything for a week and I didn't have to do a preop liquid diet! I finally got sleeved on Thursday and am now craving Peanut Butter, it's freakin' overwhelming!
  9. I'm done! And I didn't die So far not too much pain, really only gas pain and soreness at the old port site, otherwise tired and fine. Thanks so much for the support getting through the fear.
  10. Good luck! I had to gey up and drive 2 hours also lol Wondering if we're at the same place ... At the hospital now, in my gown and compression stockings, just waiting for my turn....still scared and nervous!
  11. Here's hoping! and thanks I'm scheduled for 11am tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be updating sometime after that! LOL

January 10 with Dr Thoman at Cottage Hospital. So nervous
  17. Thanks all. I am still really, really nervous LOL but am going to do it. I need to have my gallbladder removed, and I NEED to get the band out, I hate this thing. I figure if I have to do those things anyway, how much more dangerous is the sleeve, really? Unfortunately, as it gets closer, I get more and more nervous. I trust my surgeon, my family is totally supportive, I know it's the right choice, and I am scared to dea th
