Good Morning World. My surgery date is set for May 17, 2013 (saving more money to self pay), 7,000.) Has Anyone here been to PVR for surgery with Dr. Castaneda?

1 year ago.... as of May 17 and that big girl with the pretty face is gone. I'm so grateful and proud of how far I've come. I still can't believe it's me in the pictures or when I pass a store window. I've lost 102 lbs and now working on the last 10. Festival season in New Orleans is hard on my good eating habits...but I'm getting back on track. Have a awesome weekend everybody and good luck!!!! Hang in there.

Hey everybody! You guys look amazing. Keep up the good work! The pics I'm sharing are from the day after surgery when I checked into the hotel in Mexico on May 19, 2013 and the other is from May 15, 2014. I had surgery in May 17th. My whole world changed! Over 100lbs gone.

Thanks Mark. I just boiled some eggs. Baked some chicken and made tuna salad. And since it's the boredom...I'm spending the next week at a friends house so in not alone at home. Thank you for the support and sharing your plan. Sent from my iPhone

Getting there! I'm proud of all of you guys. Don't give up now. We've been wiring to hard. Start wt:250 Surgery 254 Today: 156 Goal: 149. I'm wearing weird sizes because of my shape. But I love my curves so it's cool. Jeans 10 ( this girl has hips) lol Dress 8 The part is buying a 34C bra....down from a 42D. And being about to buy small shorts in The Limited! Awesome

Help! I knew I would have problems with my legs because they were so big before surgery....but now I'm getting wrinkly on my inner thighs.....I just up'd my swimming and squat, and still moisturizing with cocoa butter. What have y'all tried?

Started at 256 wearing a 20-22. 9 months ago. I'm so fricking excited today. I just brought a dress for my Mardi Gras ball and it's a size 10. A sexy, Jessica Rabbit size 10 dress. (People my age will understand the Jessica Rabbit thing) -

Soooooo happy for you. I was sleeved back in May by Dr. Jose Castaneda. I was treated better then I have ever been at any hospital here in the states. And it's soooo damn pretty there. I wish you well. I will not regret! Best decision I've ever made! -

3 months post op------208 Today!!! 42 lbs gone....Forever!!!!!!! Sooooo excited. Almost to Onederland! Going to the park for a walk. Happy Saturday Everybody!

Yep. I wished I had saved my 200+ dollars. You have to mix this powder with Water and drink it before your meals. The longer it sits, the thicker it gets ( like Metamucil ). Awful, I didn't make it past day two.

Same here. Get a compression band, tank, or shorts. And take your pain Meds. Getting up or God forbid I tried to roll over in bed....I thought I was gonna die. But it gets better....promise! A heating pad helped too. Hang in there!!! -

I had a hematoma also. Ended up in the ER. It caused inflammation and pain on my right side. The inflammation plus all the IV fluids......I was puffy and gained weight. When you are healed.....you will hardly remember feeling the way you do now. I was given Tylenol, toradol, and loratab. 1 week later.....the swelling and extra pounds were gone. Hang in there!!!!
