I had my surgery on june 7th 2012 and this is my first winter after surgery. I started at 407 and I'm down to 289 and this winter I have been freezing! I never use to ever ware socks now I have to ware them 1 or even 5 lol when my toes get so cold that go numb. And at night I can't sleep with out a heated ele blanket...I'm just wondering if anyone else is haveing a issue like this.. ~trying to keep warm~ sara

Jana, in 3 years how much weight have you lost?

Good luck Innova, I had to lose 40 lbs b4 surgery and I went on protein shake diet for 2 months..just shakes, 3 times a day and lots of gym time! Good luck! I'm here if u need help...I had surgery on 6-7-12

One girl said it could have something to do with low iorn levels ...if u have an appointment soon have them check I wanna see if its true ..my next appt isn't till june for my year eval. So if someone could ask that would help thanks glad to help posting this.

Lol BLB yes that was the first thing that happend to me ..feet got smaller (don't need wide shoes anymore) and froze!!! Then now losing 125 ish pounds my body is a popcicle and the cold of minnesota don't help me here...buy some warm sweaters for spring would be my advice (make sure there a size or 2 smaller the you are now if u buy them early!) I didn't know feet had fat and feet fat is the first to go!

I'm doing well I had surgery june 7th and I was at 407 and I'm down to about 289..I feel like I can do things now..only bad thing is I freeze now ..I need a heated blanket at night and I ware like 5 pairs of socks some days and I'm lactose intolerate now ..other wise I'm happy with my results! I just got started with a bariatric personal trainer in fargo who kicking my butt back in gear and I wanna run a 5k on my birthday in may I think that would be the most amazing birthday present I can give my self! Hope ur doing well with ur new life as well!

I don't regret my surgery one bit! I also weight 407 when I had my surgery in june and now I weight 289. It sometimes dose bother me what ppl I know eat tho. I went on a date last night with a bigger guy who ordered 2 deep fat fried sandwitches and thought I was gunna puke as I was eating my chicken breast( yep just a baked chicken breast) its harder to find friend or even dates who have changed there life styles like we have I do know that but when I see my self half there size in pictures know I know I'm hot and I don't mind not seeing them as often and focusing on my new life choice!

Hay I'm from northern minnesota about 2 hours north on hwy 10 ..I had the surgery 6/7/12 anyone else still post here?
