I'm SO glad I found this!! I have been at a stall for 6 months! The 5 day pouch test did not work for me at all!! I have a couple of questions. I apologize if they were already asked. How many oz's of meat and oz's of veggies per meal? Are you drinking milk as part of your 128oz of liquids? Do you snack at all? If so what kind? would you mind showing me a sample of a menu for the boot camp? I'm going to start this Monday when my routine is back to normal.

January sleevers are youd ready?
LauraM5 replied to ready2haveanormalwaistline's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes! It gets easier!! Go slow on solid foods! I wanted to have soft mushy foods SO bad that the day the dr. said I could I went to lunch with my husband ordered a scrambled egg. Ate two bits and proceeded to throw it up because my stomach wasn't ready to handle it that quickly. Start with one small soft food at a time. Something easy like regular yogurt. Then go to cottage cheese, etc... It got better for me about 6 weeks to where I felt normal and back to myself. Take lots of naps and rest when you can! -

Hi January Sleevers! I am one year today and I want to tell you, YOU CAN DO IT!! I wouldn't change a thing. The first few weeks are the hardest. Once you are on regular food, it gets easier. Keep walking and sipping water right after surgery. It will help with the gas. Once home, walk, walk, walk!! Remember!! YOU CAN DO IT!! Have faith in yourself!! Inbox me if you all have any questions! I will be happy to support all of you in any way!! -
Today is one year anniversary. I don't think you have stretched your stomach out. My doctor and nutritionist said after one year your stomach will be about 8oz's. It will never get any more than that EVER! Now it all depends on what we put in it. I am upping my exercise and I have completely eliminated all wheat because it bothers me when I eat it. Even with this stall, I wouldn't change a thing!! Good luck and keep me posted!!

Hello! I am happy about my weight loss of 92 lbs, but frustrated that I have been stuck at 173 for the last 8 weeks. I haven't been this weight since high school. I wouldn't change it for the world!! I love how i look in clothes. I am glad I did it!! How about you?

January 2012 Regroup for Anniversary!
LauraM5 replied to Tenshi's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello, I'm Laura. I was sleeved 1/13/12. I have lost 92 pounds and have 25 to go. My weight has stopped at between 169 & 172 for the last 2 months. I am going to try the boot camp option I found tonight. I really want to get to goal. I do love my sleeve though! It was a crappy eating month because of a trip to New York and the holidays. I did enjoy and indulge myself. I am back on track now. i wouldn't change anything for the world!! I love being thin! It still shocks me when I meet new people and they see me as thin!
