I feel so good that I am thinking of going back to work next week too. I hate to jump the gun and then be sorry if I do go back and regret it.

Is my sleeve too big? Well, I am 5 days post op and I can drink normal, without sipping, no pain meds and I can walk a half mile. I feel some hunger, I am starting to wonder if I really had surgery. I can get in my full 64 oz and 60 grams of protein with out any problems at all. My weight loss post surgery is 9 lbs. Does this sound right? I am getting nervous that my sleeve is too big or something.

I go in tomorrow at 9 am. I cheated a few minutes ago and had a piece of roast. I hope I am doing the right thing!

I feel the same way. I have surgery in the morning and I broke down and had a small piece of beef roast. I thought I was going to lose my cool, so I ate it. I hope it doesn't mess up my surgery tomorrow!

The best unflavored protein powder is called Unjury. I order it on-line, their chicken flavor is wonderful too. Good luck

I am having my surgery the 23rd too! I am on day 2 of the pre op diet...not fun! But, ready to get on with the surgery.

I am on day 2 of pre op diet and I was feeling very sick to my stomach from all the Protein shakes. So, instead of totally falling off the wagon, I had 3 deli slices of turkey. It settled my stomach and I finished the day on a good note. I am looking forward to surgery next Wednesday. Good Luck and hang in there.

Oh that is a tough situation to be in. Have you thought about calling the office manager? Maybe they can help you get around the politics that seem to be going on in the office. -
Hey there lucky you not having the liquid diet! I would totally be good with that! Well, I want to lose about 80lbs or so. I am at 219 now, I would like to be 100lbs, but I want to be realistic too. I am getting really excited!

My doctor did not require a goal weight. But, he is making me do a liquid diet for 7 days before surgery. Bet of luck to you.

I was wondering how surgery went. I am from OFallon Mo and my surgery is on 1/23/13. I start my liquid diet this Wednesday and i am a bit nervous about the liquid diet. How did you do pre op? Any suggestions?

My Doctor put me on a 7day liquid diet before the surgery and that is it.

I wonder why some doctors prescribe longer pre op liquid diets, my doctor said 5-7 days and some people on this site asy 2 weeks or 2 days. Why the big difference? -

I start my pre op diet next week. I am allowed to have 5-7 protein shakes a day. I am not looking forward to it, but I am lucky in the fact that my doctor only has me on it for 7 days. I guess it could be a lot worse. I will send some prayers up for you Keya34. -
Well, I work with a bunch or ladies that are very clicky and judgmental. I am often left out or looked over because I am quiet and probably overweight. I am eager to find out how the ladies treat me once I am thinner. Deep down I hope they treat me the same, because it would be very sad to think they don't like me because I am heavy. Has anyone else noticed that people treat you different after weight loss?
