Hello all, If I didn't have my excess tummy skin, I would be able to wear 16s right now...As it is, because of the excess skin, I'm more like a 20..possibly an 18...But tonight I put on a pair of fat suckeriners and it made a world of difference... I tried on my 18s that I normally have a huge muffin top on top of when I wear them.....and they looked phenomenal and felt terrific. BUT...the fatty suckeriners were showing above the pants because the waist of the pants was lower rise...not low rise, but like a mid rise. So, if I pull the fatty suckeriners down, I'll regrow my muffin top...but if I keep it up, and my shirt and pants happen to separate, everyone will know I am wearing compression clothing. What would you do? In a few ways, it was easier when I was ginormous...I didn't care. Thanks! Rain

I'm not creative, and really tired of oatmeal

I also loved the fat free refried Beans...After my mushy phase, I at them with salsa and a sunny side up egg...DELICIOUS...and lots of yummy protein! Good luck and congrats on your surgery! Rain -
What about a local park???Depending on where you live, of course... We have a local arboretum that rents their gardens relatively cheaply...Then you could just rent tables etc and make springy finger foods. Favor: a bag with candy...pastel colors because it's a baby (which are easy to find right now because of Easter)...tied with a bow. --you could use a breastmilk storage bag... Everyone appreciates getting something they can nibble on the way home...and then dispose of...Nobody (except my mil) really appreciates any type of chochke (spelling???)...they just get chucked and fill up the landfills. Besides, candy is cheap! Tough spot..does she have any relatives who can help you finance the whole thing?? Edited to add...you can make it a couples shower...so less stress on the mom to be...and I always prefer to have mixed company!! Rain

what about Kitty O'Hara or Tara Ginger? (working off both the Gone With The Wind reference and the Kitty/Ginger thing..) Oh...and I have to agree that I thought of Snatch with Ginger Snap..although I liked it initially...but maybe the snatch thing is a little too sexual??? Rain Rain

Very funny... Couldn't agree more... Back "in the day" I loved some Robin Williams...So over it now. Rain

I agree that an 8 year old should know the difference between blabbing and not blabbing...I would start there... But as for the grandma...I'd gently tell her that it embarrasses you to talk about it and you'd prefer not to. Rain

My pb's or stuck sessions always happen the same way...I eat something and it feels stuck...and then about 30 minutes later, I start to feel nauseous and my stomach starts to hurt. So I go to the bathroom and I start to salivate heavily and feel very very uncomfortable. Only one time have I puked something out...it was quick and painless...Every other time the food eventually goes down. Once I get to the nauseous phase, it usually takes only 5 minutes until I am feeling well again. Although it usually happens after a fill, this doesn't seem to happen very often...knock on wood Rain

too fun... I'm dallas dazzle sizzle Rain

Ok...long story short (ha ha) My family just went to the Y to swim. After swimming we went into the Family Changing Room because it is easier with two just two year olds and a 3 year old and diapering etc....to go together than to separate them. I went outside in the hallway to get their shoes, and there was a mom there with a young boy...maybe about 12...the mother asked me if I had young children in the room...and I said yes and she said, that's unfair...you can use the regular room...my son has autism and I cannot go into the regular changing room with him. I said, oh...well we are moving as quickly as we can with three little ones under 4 and we will be out shortly. She continued to complain that I was not using the room appropriately. Well, we got the kids dressed, and then went outside to put their shoes on so the mom could bring her son in the room. (There are two family changing areas). She was waiting maybe 3 minutes. I said to her "I am sorry you had to wait, but the sign says family changing room and I didn't think there was any reason why my family couldn't use the room." She again reiterated that I was unfair because we could separate our kids and then she wouldn't have to wait...and that she can't go in to the men's room. Ok...I get that...I understand. I truly am sorry she had to wait...but am I wrong for bringing my kids into one of the family changing rooms? The thing is..I am a nice person...I NEVER intentionally hurt people or make things more difficult for someone...It's not who I am....I feel upset at myself and guilty that I've made life harder for this woman...but at the same time, I'm angry....and confused. I just figured that it was easier for a family with three kids...two of whom can't take off their clothing or put on their clothing to use the family room so that it was two adults versus three kids. Am I wrong? Really..please tell me truthfully, because I don't want to be inconsiderate. Rainer

If anyone is so rude as to ask you why you are not eating chocolate bunnies...tell them to stuff a bunny up their ass. That would be rude... You could say something like..."are you insinuating that because I am fat I should be stuffing my face with chocolate??? what should you be doing??? wiping yours with toilet paper?? Ok...that was stupid...I'd just tell them to eff off! Rain

I vaccinated my children according to the schedule provided by the pediatrician. I don't know if I agree that the government/ drug companies are promoting vaccines because of what they have to gain from it. Really, what do they have to gain from a then extremely large population of special needs folks? I think that would be rather shortsighted and it seems a little conspiracy theory to me. For my family it didn't make sense to not vaccinate. I did not want my child to become susceptible to the awful diseases that have all but been eradicated in the US. I know my pediatrician's office firmly feels that if you do not vaccinate your child, you are not welcome to be a part of their facility. They do not want your child to possibly contract a deadly or crippling disease and spread it to a child who has not had the vaccine due to their age. On my children's behalf, I am thankful for their stance. Also, having taught "research" for many years, I warn all of my students to be wary of the information found (so readily) online. The information is not put through the wringers of proofing that texts are required to go through. There is difficulty in knowing the truth of what one reads online.. I know you didn't say that you found your info online, but in this era, it's the first place so many of us look. Lorraine

Congratulations... I had my first a-fib episode on Dec 1 of 2007...I've had flutters since then, but no more full blown episodes...The first one I passed out into the bathroom and slammed my head into the toilet and tub. CRAZY!!! Unfortunately, my 3 year old witnessed the entire thing. ---they have put me on metoprolol and gave me something to put me back into rhythm if that happens again... No reason for it to have happened...so frustrating The whole thing is sucky and scary and I'm sorry you are going through it...but am glad your ablation worked. Best of luck with your banding. I've loved it and hope you have similar feelings!!! Rain
