    Sydney Gal Waiting On Surgery.

Have you tried the bars Kelly? The berry crunch are pretty alright and I used to substitute one of those a day instead of a shake or doup

    Ladies - Your Thoughts?

OMG Bald is beautiful! They are sexy as hell to me and I have no idea why, but I find bald men (totally bald and smooth) a real turn on!!!! I think it's a bit like the old adage of men in uniform, sorry but it's baldies that do it for me LOL
  3. Oh my Puppyskinny! You look good, no you look great. You are a real inspiration to me as I have about 60 kg to lose all up, well to get to my goal which I've set at 75kg, still another 37 or so to go now. I know you've been sick in the past and hope its all sorted now. It all just seems so surreal to me, I can't wait until I can reach double figures, then it won't seem so far away. It's funny to me, when mention to my friends I've lost about 25kg so far and they ooh and aah and say that's really amazing, but over my lifetime it was nothing to lose or gain 30kg, maybe my head still isn't where it should be, but I think as I keep losing it will catch up :-)

Is there anything you cant eat?

Eggs were a no no for me until about three months, they always made me feel nauseous
  5. OMG Lissa, Moree is soooo far away!
  6. Totally off topic I think I may trot off to the gym for my 75 minutes of gruelling treadmill and biking! LOL Towel - check Earplugs - check Who's joining me??!!
  7. Just wondering what most of you guys do. I count my calories, proteins and try to keep my carbs under 50g daily. Do any of you count everything as in sodium and fats etc as well as what I have mentioned? Saying this, I do use low fat milk and yoghurt. Have found I'm not actually using a lot of yoghurt these days and the milk I have is only used in my protein shakes and cups of tea/coffee. I was using unsweetened almond milk but decided that I wanted the extra protein that comes with cows milk as have been trying to build my protein up to 90g daily and have been doing pretty well with that.

  9. Are there any Aussies who use MFP and have open diaries who want to be "friends"? I think I have just two Aussies and the rest from USA. Would love more Aussie friends so I can get more ideas with our foods instead of looking at stuff I don't have access too Ta Jen

    average hospital stay?

I stayed 7 nights. Like Laura, i thought it was a mini holiday away from my boys and house. I LOVED it, well apart from the fact that I wasn't eating like I was on holiday. With my PCA on for 4 1/2 days, it was really like being in a hotel LOL Totally enjoyed the experience, how soon we forget the gas and tummy pains we had…
  12. Not me personally, but he did my niece and she said he was fantastic. I have heard he doesn't have much of a bedside manner, but again very thorough and good
  13. I don't have a new pic, I'll have to try and make myself perty tomorrow
  14. I honestly think I had more trouble sleeping pre op than I do now. Even though its still not great. Am I wrong in assuming that as we get older we sleep less anyway? Most of the older people I know seem to survive on tidbits. I cant imagine that, I want my ten hours!
  15. What about recumbent bike? I do that and it takes all the weight from your ankles putting back to your bottom

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

27/11 - I've been suffering the last few weeks with the dreaded hair fall, it has slowed a bit the last couple of days though thank goodness. I almost cried when every time I brushes my hair and my brush would get clogged. I have upped my protein by at least 20g in the last week so am wondering if this is what has helped. Instead of 60-70 I now make sure (try) to get at least 90g per day, I have started a hair skin and nails pill as well so I guess in addition to my multi and biotin this must be helping
