Be sure you are hitting your protein amounts. When I have a stall I try and up my protein amounts to get my body moving again. I have averaged about 14 lbs a month.

I tried a lot of chewables with lots of different flavors they all tasted disgusting to me. I tried gummies as well they tasted terrible as well. I they went to regular vitamins and those worked well for me. All of my levels from my labs are always normal. You can get a lot of your vitamins from the foods that you eat when you get to that stage. I bought multivitamins and b-12 from target and those have worked well for me and I have bought Citrical Calcium Citrate in a pill form and it goes down pretty well.

Be careful of how much you eat it, it could also give you the trots.

I had the same feelings, but I think my symptoms were due to the drastic reduction in calories. Keep testing and keep in touch with your PCP let them know if this continues.

Congrats on the rollercoaster. I just came back from Disney and Busch Gardens and I rode every Roller coaster they had. It was the first time I have felt comfortable and not stressed out wondering if I will fit in the ride or not.

I scheduled both appointments for the same day, worked through lunch, stayed late. It was a lot to juggle but I managed to work it all out. -

I started my first informational meeting in August of last year, but I could not get in before the end of the year, I tried because I had all ready met my deductable, but my surgery ended up being February 19 of this year. The holidays put my schedule behind. -

I have Aetna as well and they required three nutritionist visits, three visits to an exercise specialist and a visit to a psychologist. My doctors office also required mandatory classes that I had to take. I was on the three month fast track and in the end it really took six months. Good luck on your journey. -
NEED HELP ON GETTING PROTEIN..
fp9107 replied to memk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The protein I bought before surgery I could not tolerate after. The thought of it made me ill. At about three weeks I was able to tolerate protein. I now use products from gnc. I tolerate those fine. I discovered by accident that I am lactose intollerant to full fat milk after trying a small vanilla shake from Mcdonalds and it coming up violently 30 minutes later. I use skim milk and bananna creme protein powder and that works great. Keep trying until you find something you like. Some of the protein powder companies sell samples so you can find something you like. I personally to not like syntrax products because they taste too sweet to me. When I was trying to get my protein in I was having trouble keeping it down and my doc said not to worry about getting your protein in and concentrate on your water intake the protein will come in time. Good luck. -
I was sleeved on February 19 and there are a few foods that I have issues with one is pork chops and another is french fries. Everyone is different. My tastes have changed somewhat. My wife gets frustrated at me because she does not know what to cook any more. It is not because I can not eat those foods, but some things just do not sound good to me in my head. I have had some pasta and tolerated that fine. I have had rice in a small portion and had no issues.

Do not do this ,Chili that is pureed is disgusting. Learn from my mistake. The Beans texture has a lot to do with the taste.
