HELL YA!!! im 3 months post surgery and down 100lbs ...Feels great doesn't it?

GREAT NEWS!!!! I just went to my Nutritionist / Doctor for my 3 month follow up and i have lost 100lbs OMFG i cant believe it ! I just broke down and cried when i seen that on the scale i am no longer in the 400lbs weight group . I am not in the 300s OMG!!! I was 487lbs i am now 390lbs WOW!! Im so happy! I was feeling down lately because i couldn't weigh myself on home scales because i was to heavy But now i see the light at the end of the tunnel! LIFE DOES GET BETTER : )

I just had the " why didn't i do this sooner moment" I always seen people post that and say that and i couldnt ever understand because i was in such a dark place b4 surgery and then recovering from this surgery ..But now i understand ..WOW This Sh#t really changes your life ! "On Cloud Nine"

Congrats : ) : )My surgery was January 14 2013 and i have lost just over 70lbs thus far : ) Including my 3 week pre op diet !

its normal... it will pass... just make sure u drink sips of water all day and get protein as much as you can ..That will help speed up your recovery..and walk as much as you can handle that help as well.. Hope this answers your question.. im 6 weeks post op so i know how you feel : )

use the lowest fat mayo you can find.. i just finished the pureed stage of my post op diet : )

More food ideas : Scrambled eggs , deviled eggs , check the recipe forum area of this website there is a lot of meal ideas and pureed ideas that will give you more ideas : )

Stay away from high fats and high carbs and high sugars ..Protein is #1

low fat soups ,chilli ,pureed tuna,egg,chicken, crab meat,salads, on soda crackers, homemade pea soup wit lean ham, smoked mussels , creamed oat meal, hummus ,etc.. Hope some of these things help.. if i can remember more i will post more

I'm in the pureed stage of my diet and i feel the same way like im hungry alot ..last night i had pureed homemade chilli and it was AMAZING!!! it was the most satisfying meal yet! But after reading all these post im not the only one feeling hungry often during this stage... I start week 4 today ! I have lost 56lbs since Dec 22 2012 which is when i started my pre op diet and i had my surgery on Jan 14 2013 .. I hope the hungry feeling goes away during the solid stage of my diet.. I have done EVERYTHING right up to this point!

i was 485lbs on dec 21 2012 i was on pre op diet for 3 weeks and had my surgery on jan 14th 2013 and i had the sleeve done and my current weight is 427lbs so obviously something is going right!

question : Every time i eat my pureed food or eat Soup etc i always feel alot of pressure just under my chest right where stomach starts..i Always feel this pressure actually ..is this normal? And i try and burp and Fluid comes up.. I wish i could just burp so much but i cant .. That is what the pressure feels like ... (like i have to burp huge)

that is great to hear..my surgery is on Jan 14 a week away..starting to have doubts , nervous..but its good to hear that your doing good after surgery! Makes me feel a bit better
