Apparently the 13th is booked for Dr Cabrera so now I'm on the 14th. Stupid weather.

Just changed my surgery date from tomorrow to March 13th. My flight was canceled due to weather. So bummed. Will anybody be at Mi Doctor on the 13th?

Do I started my Clear liquids today. So far, not so bad. I picked up several different things from HyVee for variety sake and am allowing myself one can of low sodium chicken broth per day. I've been on the liquid diet for more than 2 weeks at this point and that was really tough. I'm supposed to leave for Tijuana on Thursday and be sleeved on Friday. But the weather is supposed to turn bad and I'm worried about my flight status. I've been in touch with my coordinator who said that if my flight was delayed or canceled, I would be rescheduled for the 25th or the 4th. Ugh! I can't go thru this liquid diet stuff again! I'm mentally ready for this and if there's a delay I'm worried I will just break.

My flight was just canceled. I'm hoping to get in on March 7th now.

So far my flight is still on. Some ahead of me have already been canceled. Ugh!

Ok, I'm a little confused. What is "onederland"? I'm thinking its when one has lost 100 lbs, but I'm not for certain. Also, Head Hunger. This term confuses me so I looked it up and found this article http://ezinearticles.com/?Is-Head-Hunger-a-Loophole-for-Failure-After-Weight-Loss-Surgery?&id=110349 but it didn't really explain what head hunger truly is.

True enough. I hope the weather does change. I mean I live in Kansas and you know they always say if you don't like the weather in Kansas, just wait 5 minutes...it'll change! Fingers and toes crossed. My plane isn't scheduled to leave until 11:10, so surely they will have things cleared and running then. Just another thing...but it's ok...I'm gonna get thru it!

Whoo-hoo!

No, no, she won't. But it's a nice thought. I know she's going to ask about my surgery date when she comes on Sunday. I plan on telling her I have to go to a conference in April for work (not a lie...I really do) and will do it after that. By that time, I'll have had plenty of recovery time and have dropped some weight. I'll just tell her I already had it and didn't want to stress HER out...bahahaha! Yeah right, I usually double a kolonopin with a shot of tequilia (no joke) when she comes to visit. I will never tell her I did it in Mexico. As a mom myself, I often tell my kids (especially my youngest son who is quite the dare devil) that there are things that I'm sure they do, but they should never tell me. Like when my son and his buddy built the bike ramp and the tricks they were doing. I didn't need to know about it. All it makes me do is worry.

I told my husband that if our marriage survives this coming week we can survive anything!

I'm just having a rough day man. I've been able to drop a few pounds this week by watching my sodium levels and walking more than 2 miles each day. But today has just been the worst. I'm completely irritated by everything and everybody. I know part of my stress is due to my mom coming this weekend to celebrate my youngest sons bday. She's so not supportive and very vocal about it. She knows I'm having surgery but has no idea when or where (in7 days in Tijuana). Plus my son wants me to make his favorite foods (ribs and wings) and cake of course. I usually let my kids have what they want on their bdays so I wouldn't feel right telling him no. I went to the store tonight and picked up several different things to start my clear liquid diet on Monday. That's where the rest of my stress comes from. The liquids have been hard enough but the clear diet sends me into a panic. Totally living on Vitamin Water, paxil and kolnopin! Anybody else freaked out by the clear liquids?
