im just 5 days in and almost 5kg gone its not too bad and blood sugars are good and im off insulin

im on an 8 week milk diet and there is nothing i can do to liven it up bar use different glasses

Hello and welcome Karen, , at the moment im on an 8 week milk diet but most of the preop work is done xx

im on day 4 of my 8wk milk diet and today is the first day in months ive had energy ive scrubbed and polished my home ive left 2 rooms for tomorrow and ive a roast dinner on for my partner, ive so fat not got the headaches and im having a great sleep at night but the best thing of all is im off my insulin

im 5'2 and 275 still pre-op till june but on the milk diet for 8 weeks x

two weeks before I started my milk diet I did special good bye meals, had my favorite dishes and 1 take away and last friday when I was handed my milk diet myself and one of my closes friend went out for a 3 course meal by the time monday came I was thrilled to say good bye food hello diet, enjoy your time out and savor the flavors x

I never told my partner about I going for this operation till I saw the consultant, as my partner is on oxygen 24/7, when I did approach the subject me finding myself and regaining my confidence was the main subject, Frank is my number 1 supporter, we laugh and joke about all the new sexy clothes Il be buying and don't forget the underwear, Talk to your hubby let him see you will be dressing for him as well as yourself, get a sexy outfit in his favorite colour, & tell him black will only be for the bedroom, the best of luck, xxx

Hi im on day 2 of my 8 week milk diet I feel so full that ive hardly had time to drink water, no headaches yet and ive stopped my insulin, ive just cooked a shepherds pie for my partner but knowing that this is the start of my new life im embracing it, il be here for you on your tough days and you can be here for me xx good look with it xxxx

The sleeve is a better ans safer option, most doctors are now going with the sleeve more than the bypass or the band, like you my first option was the band but after talking to the consultant I agreed to the sleeve he has put all my fears to bed, speak to your consultant tell him your fears he is the only one that can talk you through this, I wish you all the best in your journey, were all here for you xx
