  1. / Happy New Year Yes I think the water and walking will help. With my weight loss it has been longer than 6 weeks as my operation was delayed the night before (so I'd already been on liquids/optifast) for 2 weeks, then had a gap of about 6 weeks then did the Optifast again for 2 weeks and had the surgery Nov 20th - but thanks I think the big loss prior to surgery is why I'm stalling a bit too, on and off - hang in there! All the best.
  2. best to ask your surgeon as they everyone is given different diets based on their requirements & what needs to happen prior to your surgery
  3. I'm 6 weeks out and do at times feel hungry, but I think my head hasn't caught up to my new stomach, you look at the small amount of food and feel a little deprived but you quickly realise you can't eat much at all before you feel like you used to pre-surgery after Christmas dinner! I'm getting my head around it and am very careful to take my time as you fill up super quickly. So yes, you probably will feel hungry but it doesn't take much at all to fill you up.
  4. I am 6 weeks out, my weight stayed the same for over 1.5 weeks, has just started going down again, I started doing 45min walks most days.. I'm sure its just a plateau - I couldn't tolerate the shakes so I'm not having any of those, just a low cal diet..
