    Rabbits?

Just a sec while I get some cotton for Lisa's ears. Wait, here, put these headphones on and listen to some Rammstin for a second.... yummy rabbits. My dear Grandmother would fry them like chicken, and I like to cook them in a fricase. (cut the rabbit (or chicken) into pieces, season to taste, pour a can of cream of mushroom Soup over it. Bake in 350 oven until the meat falls off the bone.)

    Ghosts...

The grounds of the ranch were dug up and twelve corpses were uncovered in shallow graves. Amongst these victims were two entire families; Harvey Dubs and his wife and baby son, and Lonnie and Brenda O'Conner and their baby son. The women had been abused and killed after their husband and infants were disposed of. Five of the bodies were of men lured to the ranch to be robbed and killed - including Robin Stapley and Paul Cosner - and the twelfth was identified as 18-year-old Kathleen Allen, who knew Ng because her boyfriend had once been his cellmate in prison. As well as these complete remains, police found many charred fragments of human bones, but they were unable to determine the identity of the victims they had come from, or how many there had been. The authorities concluded that Lake and Ng had murdered as many as twenty-five people. http://www.answers.com/topic/leonard-lake
  6. I used to feel like a freak, didn't help that my mther and younger sister used to describe me as looking like a circus freak, especially when I was breast feeding. They told me that if I'd ever had another baby that they would have tried to discourage me from breastfeeding the new baby. Wolves, the lot of them.

    Permanent Make-up

A friend had her eyebrows done, and she looks terrible! She's allergic to the dye/ink used and she's had nothing but trouble. I have very sensitive skin, so the only tatoo I have is where I stabbed myself with a pencil... That, and I just know I would regret anything I got after 10 years or so.

    Weight loss progress graph

In statistics, we call that an irregular downward trend. I think you should post it with your before/after montage. Yes, I think that is a great idea. Congrats on the hard work!

    My DH is T-Bone.

Lastnight we went to the support group that is hosted by our surgeon. I figured I should go since I'm now home. My DH now weighs 403!!! This is so amazing! I need some suggestions on how to treat him special when he breaks into the 300 pound range. He's weighed more than 400 pounds for the last 25 years, so breaking that 300 pound barrier is going to really be something emotionally speaking. Obviously, we can't Celebrate by going to a restaurant! When he came to pick me up this weekend, I realized that he is swimming in his clothes. He's gone through all the holes in his belt, and is now using the mesh part of it. We recently welcomed Zoe to Onederland. What do we call it when we welcome someone to the 300 pound range?

    NSV anyone?

I got a great NSV Sunday night when I got home. My sweet son wanted to know how I was doing, with the band. We've been apart since I got my band 10 weeks ago. He said I looked really good, and that my face was full of life, and that I was glowing. Then I had to chase him down the stairs and out the front door, and around the truck. I RAN down the stairs, I RAN around chasing him until we nearly colapsed laughing!

    Any Regrets???

I asked my DH if he had any regrets over being banded. He said he regrets it almost everyday. He will see something and really want to have a good old fashioned binge, and binge for hours on that food. But he is so thankful for the band so that he cannot binge. His desire to binge is aperently still very great, but without the band, he'd be dead.

Kissing the Latte Delivery Boy Goodbye!

Actually, lattes are a good source of calcium, if you aren't lactose intolerant. Jessie recommends having one in the mornings...

    Exercise log book

No challenge here, other than the inherent challenge of getup up and exercising! (doing my best Richard Simmons’ impression…) I know we have a few folks who love to dance, some dog walkers and some folks who are working with personal trainers or at gyms. Use this thread to keep track of your daily exercise or come to get your butt kicked by our professional amateur motivator! I walked for 60 minutes today. Went to my first horsemanship class today. No horses, just then introduction. It looks like we get to learn some dressage and how to drive a wagon too! I’m not quite sure what dressage actually is, but we will learn it!

    Just starting the research....

Hey Kell, welcome to LBT. I had to laugh because I was positive there was no way I has sleep apnea. Not me, no way. Well, the way the sleep doc described it was "impressive." I HATE "impressing" doctors.

    Bra Shopping

Okay, I had to read this several times. Your Band shrunk? How in the heck did that happen, it's sillicon for crin' out loud, it's probably impervious to heat and I'll bet it's non-stick too. But after reading you post several times, I realised it was you BRA band size that shunk, not you Band ...

    I have yet another question!

Well, You might be a freak, but I am one too... I still haven't been filled and I can eat everything I've tried, including cheeseburgers and french fries My DH insisted that I had some restriction, but I told him everything, and now he's kinda peeved Peeved in a loving way of course ...

    Scrambled eggs versus peanut butter?

Pat, I don't ever remember you coming to breakfast! lol, that is exactly how I fix them. My son and DH can't wait for me to come home for the summer. They are sooo tired of their own cooking... In addition to all that yummy fixin's on my eggs, I also have fallen in love with the new jalipeno tabasco sause. I could eat that stuff with a spoon!

Anyone else being attacked by mucus?

my DH gets the slimes big time. From what I understand, this is part of the process of having something "stuck." It won't or can't go down on its own, and the mucus is your body's reaction. It is trying to produce enough "lube" so the stuck thing can go one way or the other. I know if my husband tries to swallow the mucus, well, it just gets ugly. I know other bandsters have talked about using a spit cup during these attacks.

    where's the PB?????

I'm with you guys! I've never PB'd and I've never come close to it either. I've had things get stuck, but I don't have the pain, it just ... stuck. Mostly this one nasty med that I have to take.... but no golf balls... Thank the Goddess! I've had the excessive salivation a couple of times but usually this only happens several hours after I've eaten, so I'm not sure what's up with that. [knocking on a whole forest] My husband PBs all the time, or gets the slimes what seems like ever time he comes to visit me. It might be the unexpected change in altitude (he always gets tighter when he comes to visit me) or he might still just be eating too big of bites.
