I am in Texas and other than my parents, no one knows about my surgery. They only know I have a hernia to repair. Would love some folks to chat with along this new journey!

I am one week out! and drumroll.......get to have pureed food!!!! LOL I am feeling great and returned to work today. Y'all it is so much easier to get my fluids in here! I already got down 48 ozs and I am on my second Protein shake so all my protein is in too! I just sip sip sip where at home I was watching a clock and TV which seems like torture. I have a great staff that missed me and noticed I am not quite as energetic but still here and doing my job. So many notice a difference in my face so that is very MOTIVATING!!!! How is everyone else?

I used Dr. Hollis. He is fantastic. I haven't hit my 64 oz liquids yet but I am close. I keep a tervis tumbler of crystal light in hand at all times and sip sip every ten minutes. For breakfast I made my protein shake with 6 oz of water and took 30 minutes to get it all down. Took my kids to lunch and had the broth from wonton soup. I also drank a cup go hot tea this afternoon. Today I was out and about for about three hours and that wore me out. There is a few FB groups that are great. Oh and i am in Houston!

Well all went well 12/2! I am three days out and feeling great. Word to those coming up....ask for pain meds as soon as you can and walk to get the gas out. Its the worst. Pop a gas x strip immediately. Best wishes!!!

December 2nd can't get here fast enough!!!!

I am excited and nervous all at once. I am doing great on pre-op which I started 4 days early in case surgeon had a cancellation and could get me in sooner. Down 9 pounds since starting....

I have my sleeve scheduled for December 2nd! I started my pre-op on Friday even though dr didnt require until Tuesday but I knew the first few days were rough and i didnt want to do that and be at work. I tried unjury chicken Soup flavor protien powder for the first time today and YUMMO was like a warm soup of soup versus a sweet protien shake. I also love the Muscle Max pro max powder in Tiramisu and strawberry. It has 30 grams per scoop and is super smooth. So far I am down 9 pounds.
