    Work Out Pants

I recommend JC Penny, Sears, Target and Walmart. I wear yoga leggings and tshirts. Put on a good sports bra and get your workout on. I used to feel shy at first, but then i noticed that no one was paying any attention to me because they were too focused on their own workouts. Good luck to you!
  2. Awesome job gingerRN!! Glad to know that it wasnt just me experiencing something weird with my energy levels. I think it will get better with time.
  3. Thank you! Its so much information out there that sometimes i get confused as to how much is too much and how little is too little. I just ended telling myself to just listen to my body....something i never did before i had this surgery. For once in my life i feel that i like me, and not someone else mold of who they think i should be. I give major kudos to all of us and our bravery doing what we do everyday. Anyone who says this is the "easy way out" has blinders on and they should only hope to be as brave as us one day. We are heroes!!
  4. Thank you. Im new here and i have noticed quite alot of sarcasm. This place is supposed to be for encouragement. Its disheartening to see that kind of behavior from people. I thought we were all in this together on some level or another. Im happy this page exist. Now i dont feel so uncomfortable asking question for fear of the "VSG Perfection Police" shooting me down...lol. Hi everyone, i was sleeved on dec 17th. I have lost 28 lbs thus far. Doing well with eating, and just ok with exercising. But i am still a very active and busy woman, wife, and mom of 10 and 15 year old kids. Most days i have boundless energy, but usually at least once a week i feel like im gonna crash and burn out. Does this happen to anyone else?
  5. Great job. So motivating. You go girl!!

  7. My sister in law and i have always been close. About a year ago, my best friend, my sister in law and me decided to move forward with our plans to get sleeve surgery. Well, my best friend and i got our surgeries approved by our insurance companies and my sister in law did not get her surgery approved. My best friend was sleeved on Dec 11, and i was sleeved on Dec 17. Since then my sister in law has been saying catty things to me in regards to both me and my best friend. I can tell she is very jealous. I think its pathetic. She has always been very insecure in the past but this is other level. She has been nothing but saying hurtful things. I'm over it. I just don't want to deal with that kind of negativity every time i see her. Our relationship used to be so much better than this. I'm praying that things will change for the better but for now I'm keeping my distance.
  8. I was sleeved on dec 17. So far so good. I dealt with some pain the first 4 days. The worst pain was in my left shoulder, but that went away by day 4. Then I experienced a couple of days when I didn't have very much energy and felt weak, however, my weight loss is 21 lbs thus far. I'm feeling stronger each day, walking and moving around helps allot. Tired of shakes but i have to keep pressing forward with them. Can't wait until i graduate to soft foods
