First off, I am a total newbie in the Protein Drink world--- just beginning the sampling stage for my up coming surgery. I've read in another forum about how great "Sunkist Protein" drinks/shots are. I've attached the nut info of the shots I found online. Does anyone have thoughts or info on this "special type" of Protein they use? I'm thinking these shots might be good in my early days post- surgery. I appreciate your thoughts;)

Am I the only one that's mind has been taking over by this surgery. My every thought is consumed. I'm sooo ready to get this journey started. I feel like a kid waiting to go to Disney. My bags are packed and I'm sitting in the car waiting on mom and dad to come on. Lol.Ditto for me---I'm pretty much obsessed and even got a "count down app" on my phone. My hubby said,"stop checking the forums - your going to stress yourself up!"---HA!!! Too late buddy--- it's all I think about!!

Thinking of taking a vacation this summer. I will be around 7 months post op. Will I be eating most foods by this time just in small amounts' date=' or will I still be having to watch what I eat carefully? Should my activity level be back to "normal" for me ? I don't want to invest in a Disney vacation and be miserable because I can't find appropriate food, or I can't keep up with the family.[/quote']Something I forgot--- you will be walking MILES so if you splurge on a little something you'll have no reason to feel guilty! Just stay hydrated;)

Ohhh I read "Room"- it was so so good!!!
Just finished "Still Alice" by Lisa Genova. Really liked it.
I like the books by Elin Hildenbrand- sorta beachy good reads. I believe most of them take place in or around cape cod.
"House of sand and fog" by Andre Dubus was a wonderful read
"The art of racing in the rain" Garth Stein had me in tears
I could go on and on and on
Cool! Thanks;)---(running to my ipad to search and download!!)

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. ....... so soooo good. I had a hard time finding good "in between books" til hunger games and 50 shades .... does anybody have any others that are just as good?It looks like I have similar reading taste to you.
I enjoyed:
Sookie Stackhouse series ( fun & sexy but no 50 shades)
An e book series called Heller
The Book Thief(historical but good)
Room(about a kidnapped mom and her son-- emotional but good read)
If I think of more I'll post;)

OMG How could I have forgotten the meds!! I am off my high blood pressure meds. Such a great feeling! I would like to get off my fibromyalgia meds. They are my next goal!Suepeeps- did your surgery complicate your fibromyalgia? My mom has wanted to do the surgery but thought the surgery might induce havoc on her already painful body. Thx;)

I've had a annual pass to Disneyland for years, so i can help a little with the avail food choices. There is a place called Bangel BBQ--- pretty much you can get meat and veggie skewers. I feel like that's the safest bet when I'm there and watching carbs. I am due to be sleeved in Feb, so I don't know how your energy level will be by then- because honestly Disneyland is quite exhausting especially in the hitter months. However, food wise I'd think as long as you have some Protein Drinks on hand or Protein Powder to add to avail drinks you will be fine. There are fruit carts, yogurt, and even restaurants that have mashed potatoes and yummy low carb salads. Just depends on what you can tolerate by then.

Amazing! Such an inspiration!!! Thanks for posting all your details--- I due to be sleeved 2/27 and it helps me plan;)

Best wishes to u!!! I keep wondering how everyone has dates I have no date yet !! My mind is exactly were yours is with clots leaks and protein!!! I keep looking for the worse case scenario just to be prepared for the worse things possible. One lady said said she wrote letters to her kids just incase. I am working on the same cause that's how scared I am but I dunno
Crazy--- I thought about making a video to my hubby and son! But I feel like I should think positive, pray and not put that out into the universe!!! Lol. Like you, I just want to be informed and prepared;).
