Sounds normal to me. I was sleeved 2/25 and I'm right around the same. I've quit weighing every day. Just gonna weigh in Mondays.

Sleeved 2/25. Lost 15 pre-op. 17 since surgery. So 32 lbs since on this journey. But from my highest weight I'm down total of 55 lbs. I seem to lose a pound and a half then stall a couple of days. Then lose. Then stall. Working on increasing my water.

I was sleeved same day as you. My dr cleared me for purée this Monday (tomorrow) which would be 3 weeks. But I have been eating purée about 2 days already.

Gas X strips and Chapstick. I also liked sugar free hard candy

I haven't had C section but I've had gallbladder, hysterectomy , and my tubes tied. This sleeve was a breeze compared to those. I was never in any pain. Just sore. Nausea was my only negative experience and it wasn't that bad

Hi. I am 9 days post op and I can see results already. This first pic was taken last Thursday on Day 3 post op. the 2nd pic was taken today.

Try adding skim milk or coffee to thin them.

My dr never retested me. I took all 14 days of meds and had surgery on day 14. No problems.

My PCP just called and said I tested positive for H Pylori. But I can't reach my surgeon until Wednesday because it is Mardi Gras season in Louisiana and every thing shuts down for Fat Tuesday. Ugh! Now I'm stressed. And my PCP won't start antibiotics until he talks to my surgeon. My surgery date is 14 days away. SCREAM!!! Anyone been through this?

I just made this same post in the WLS FB group. I'm 11 days out and I burp several times after I eat or drink thick liquids.

As far as the way you feel after surgery you should be fine. I had people with me but I would have been fine if I would have been by myself.

I have a desk job so he said it was fine.

I don't eat "bites". I dip my spoon into the thick liquid, pull it straight out, and kinda lick what sticks to the spoon. It doesn't hurt to swallow this way.

I get the burps when I start getting full.i have major gas but it doesn't stink at least. The first two days after surgery I dry heaved every time I took a sip of liquid. And here is my worst ugly......my stomach is a bruise big, blue, purple, and black, the size of a basketball. It doesn't hurt but it sure is ugly.

I have 3 tattoos. My 1st I got when I was barely 18 and still living at home. I hid it for 2 years until I was married. The day my mom seen it she politely asked my husband to leave the room and proceeded to explain to me that I had lived under her roof and broke her rules at the time I acquired the tattoo and therefore I deserved a good ass whoopin. And I got one. Lol. The other two tattoos came later and she didn't say a word other than ' if that's what makes you happy. At least they are pretty. ". She'll come around.
