I had surgery 1/15 starting weight 232 I have lost 5o lbs. I still have 50 lbs. to lose. I am 5'5 don't know my Bmi.

Sometimes it's discouraging reading people's huge numbers. I started out at 232, lots of people have 150,200 plus to lose so of course they will lose weight different than I do. I need to stay focused on my weight loss and not focus on others, -

Totally quit carbs . When I eat carbs (protein bar) my weight slows down. Just like an alcoholic I know if I go back there it's a slippery slope that got me to the point of having this surgery. Drink more fluids that will help the acid. Sometimes I think we sabotage ourselves without knowing we are even doing it. -
I started at 232.

I asked my nut if it was ok I could drink a lot 3 oz at a time . She said that it wasn't the drinking that could ever stretch your sleeve but overeating. Was she wrong? -
I had my surgery jan 15th. Been dealing with this issue. My Dr. Said to take miralax until you go.

I had mine January. 15 with dr. Walton. Everything went great. Healed quick back to work in 4 days. Half days. I am so thankful I did this. Maybe I will meet you at the support groups. I have lost 32 lbs. preop 15 post op 17. -
Please tell me some good ideas for soft foods. Need some help!!!!!! I know eggs, Greek yogurt.

I am 10 days post op. it doesn't hurt but I have to wait awhile 3-4 minutes before I drink again. Am I stretching out my sleeve? Please please give me some feedback

Just had mine on the 15th. It wasn't near as bad pain wise as I thought. Did pain medication 4 times and will do evening only now that I am home. I am so excited to be on the road to losing weight and healing.

I had surgery when I was pregnant, didn't know I was pregnant. My 27 year old daughter was born perfect. Take a deep breath, you'll be fine and so will your baby. Your obgyn will be able to help you make a game plan. -
I am getting sleeved the 15th. Pretty excited but getting nervous. I have thought about this a long time and prayed about it. Is it normal to have some fear? Leaks scare the heck out of me! Please send some encouragement to this Oklahoma girl!!
