Wow congratulations! You look fantastic! -
No more guilt! It is unrealistic to think we will not have those kind of days. For the most part it is best to stay away from empty calories. BUT, that being said we are human and do indulge from time to time. One kiss will not kill you..... Is that permission to eat the other 8 to reach the 200 calorie mark No Way. But, do not beat yourself over this. Just turn the page and take life day by day! You got this!

Hello to all i justhad my Vsg done on monday
T'snewstart replied to richardv58's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I usually drink two premier protein shakes a day. Each shake is 30 oz of protein. Each shake is 11 oz of liquid. So the two shakes total 22 oz of fluid. I drink 32 oz of flavored water. For some reason I have had a hard time with just plain water since the surgery. It does not take much more liquid to reach the goal of 64 oz per day. This system has worked for me since leaving the hospital. Hope this helps! -

Sugar free Popsicles are good, I had strained cream of chicken soup (low fat) and that was very good! This was when I got home from the hospital. In the hospital all I had was liquids.... A lot of diet snapple & water.... -

Weight loss... Weigh in with your opinions.
T'snewstart replied to devine.adon's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Honestly It seems when folks have more to lose. Meaning over 150 lbs they do tend to lose faster in the beginning. As opposed to a person the has 99 lbs to lose. I am not sure why that is but it is. When I had surgery I had to lose 163lbs. I am a little over 6 months out and have lost 108#. But, I have hit a stall now for 2 weeks..... BUT let me make this clear.... I am not worried or stressed about the stall. They come.... And our body does its thing.... Makes it adjustments and the stall breaks! In answer to your question can it be done?? Yes, it can..... What is important is that our focus is to only on the numbers on the scale..... Because stalls will come.... And if you are only paying attention to the scale that could really send you into a tail spin! Enough said! Best wishes to you! -
OMG.... Too funny.... Lmao!

Whoo hoo congratulations! -
Hi ... Congratulations! Yes, I struggled as well. They most likely will not let you go home until they see you drink as certain amount per hour. My surgeon came in and counted the empty cups. So, with that being said .... Do the best you can and sip, sip sip!..... Best wishes for a quick recovery!
