I am 2 months out. I just started to get my stamina back. I feel much more energy on the days I take my vitimans. Yes I have been guilty of not taking them as I should have. I have since learned they do have their purpose.... So I take them as I should. Word to the wise....B12 really do help with energy levels!

Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
T'snewstart replied to Yasmine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It takes me 20 to 30 minutes depends on what I am eating. I am 2 months out. I eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese And 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes. Or 1 oz of meat with 1/4 cup of cooked veggies. I am full....no need for more. Does that seem right? Seems like most people can eat a lot more meat than that? So far this sleeve is working well for me... From what I understand these small amounts of food I will be able to consume won't last forever. I want to be able use the this sleeve / tool as much as possible! Am I in a dream world or this this a reasonable way to think? Thoughts Anyone? -
Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
T'snewstart replied to Yasmine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
hi I had my sleeve done Nov. 7th. Doing well been able to eat 1 oz of meat & 1/4 cup of fruit or veggies per meal. Have lost 54 lbs so far. My NUT told me to make sure I drank 2 premier shakes a day to reach protein goals. So far it's working out well. Most days I get in all the fluids ...... that seems to be the thing I have to focus on the Most. If I don' t drink all the fluids my lower plumbing does' t work. And then I am so uncomfortable. Drinking all the fluids makes a HUGE difference. -

special k or kelloggs liquid breakfast drinks
T'snewstart replied to Jules27's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I drink 2 premier drinks daily which guarantees my daily intake of at least 60 grams of protein have been consumed. I love them...... it's nice to have the daily protein taken care of that way.... Takes the pressure of where food is concerned. I am 8 weeks out and only can eat 1oz of meat in a meal. Sometimes fruit or vegetable 1/4 cup. Sleevers is this normal? Can anyone help with this? Thank you. -
I have to know, does the hunger/appetite REALLY disappear?
T'snewstart replied to Jenny12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 7 weeks out and I do not get hungry. I asked the DR. about it. He said 50% of the people lose their hunger completely. My story is just like Deano. I was hungry all the time. I would wait until the house was quiet and everyone was asleep and then eat all the no no foods. I never thought the day would come and I would be FREE from Food! It is here. I do eat as suggested to avoid any problems. However, I get full sometimes before finishing all the food. I do not eat past full. Trust me I never thought that eating 1 oz of meat and 1/4 cup of veggies would fill me to full!!! The sleeve is working!! Tina
