Favorite foods during the pureed stage?
HikeEveryMountain replied to Lorraine M's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tuna with a tiny bit of mayo and pickles. Trust me, sounds horrible. Tastes great. Super low cal and super high protein. -
I started salads at about 3 months, never had any difficulty with them.

Two Years out: LISTEN UP NOOBS AND SEEKERS! *warning-harsh*
HikeEveryMountain replied to Dooter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Great post. I'm a year and a half out and what you say is sooo true. I'm glad I was in therapy after my surgery and I'm glad I worked as hard as I did to change how I think about and treat my body. But that said, I still wish I would have worked harder - patterns are hard to kill. I keep fluctuating 10 lbs up from my goal, then get serious and bring it back down. I want to get consistent. -
I still buy Quest bars from Amazon. Averages about $2 bar but good selection available and can get variety packs.

Rapidly Gaining Weight 2 Years Post Op Sleeve Surgery
HikeEveryMountain replied to nikki042's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
This thread is a good reminder to stay actively engaged in eating healthy, even years out. It's not easy. Our patterns persist, but hopefully we're better at taking control when needed. -

PASSION WERE DID IT GO?
HikeEveryMountain replied to Mytime45's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It may have been a typo, and you meant menopause - but manpause is so ironically funny! Made my day. (and I do hope things are better for you!) -
I think I'm regretting the sleeve
HikeEveryMountain replied to Huggies123's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Agree! Therapy during the sleeve journey is so smart. You're going through so many changers on so many different levels, be good to yourself. -
Tall Women, Tell Me Your Story!
HikeEveryMountain replied to AshleyMidwife's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
So, tall friends - what are your favorite places to shop for tall pants and jeans? Anyone know where to find Ana jeans? JC Penney isn't stocking the tall sizes anymore and I looooved those jeans and how they fit! -

How tall are you and what is your goal dress/pant size?
HikeEveryMountain replied to Butterflyhigh's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
6' tall, size 10/12 is perfect for me now I'm at goal. What a nice change from size 22/24.....! -
Quest bars. Tons of protein, most 200 calories or less, low sugars, high fiber. I'm a year and 3 months out and still often have them for a breakfast or lunch. Delicious and one is filling enough. Coconut is my favorite, but even the peanut butter and jelly ones are amazing. Best prices by the box are on amazon.

Has anyone done tummy tuck or plastics in mexico?
HikeEveryMountain posted a topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I'm nearly to goal and had a great experience with being sleeved by Dr Q in Tijuana last January. Now thinking about tightening things up a bit. Would love to hear from anyone who has done it. -
