    9 month check-in

Congrats to us all! We're making great progess. Can't wait to see where we'll be on our Surgiversaries!
  2. Hi December sleevers! Let's chime in on our progress. It's been 9 months and I'm down to some 14-16 dresses from a size 24. My weight loss has slowed, but I'm happy with my progress. Can't wait to get to onederland! I have 32 more pounds to get under 200#. Still getting a handle on vitamins and I'm living with no regrets! Rocking my sleeve!

    Role call

I'm down 66 pounds post-op and 94 pounds in all, but I'm still considered obese! So, I have some work to do...to the tune of 60-80 more pounds to lose! My weight will then be normal to overweight... Anyway, I'm quite happy with my progress.????
  5. 2 smart water 33 oz. bottles a day work for me. I start my day with vitamins and water (right next to my bed) and find myself being successful when I finish one bottle by noon each day. If I finish by 10 am, I can get almost 3 bottles in and move the scale! It just happened this week after a 2-month stall. Don't underestimate the power of the right amount of water. Good luck!

    Two Month Stall

I've been in a 2-month stall since 6 months out, but I'm staying focused. Just added more exercise and more Protein (in my coffee and through out the day) and I'm seeing some progress. Down a couple pounds this week. Just walked in the park and played tennis with family and friends. I'm spoiled by the 5-7 # a week losses I had in the beginning. I need to lose another 50-60# to get to goal and I hope to get there by December. Still happy I'm almost down 100#. HW:324 SW:296 CW:234 Goal:180
  9. I've lost 85# altogether, 57# since surgery. I quickly moved to the slow loser category after the first 2 months. But slow and steady should mean not too much loose skin. I'm increasing my water and protein intake. I read that makes a difference. We'll see. Anyway, I'm glad we have this site to encourage each other.
  10. Same problem here except I was sleeved in December. I have slowed down on exercise, but I plan to increase that this summer. I'm still getting praise for losing so much weight. Hopefully, we'll continue to lose over the next year as many others have said on here...the 18 month mark seems to be where the weight loss stops for lots of people with stalls along the way.

    Calcium Citrate

I ordered chewable calcium citrate from Celebrate vitamins. They have sugar-free berry, chocolate, and caramel flavors. The berry is my favorite. Tastes like candy!

    Favorite Protein Bars

Try Power Crunch bars. They are like sugar wafers and are low sugar (5-6 grams), around 200 calories and 13-14 grams of protein. I love them!
