Well here goes my story that I know someone can relate...if not then mine is unique in every way! lol Well I've battled my weight I would say starting when I hit puberty. I was always the girl with the pretty face and beautiful smile. The one that everyone loves to say "oh you have a pretty face"! But there was always a but....the reality...yes I needed to lose weight! I realized it too 4 sons later! I'm very active with my boys, traveling, and going to all kinds of sport events and games. I could feel myself not able to keep up as much but pushed because that's what you do for your boys! My real wake up call is when I saw a picture and I was in total disbelief! Who is that, noooo way that camera sucks, delete that , and retake it! Omg another bad pic I insisted! But the reality was, I was huge and on my way to the grave! My blood pressure off the charts, my doctors screaming you need to loose the weight, me feeling ashamed to go to my sons school or anything. So I began on my weight loss journey a year ago! I've lost about 60lbs simply by drinking nothing but alkaline water with PH mineral drops, sharing my meal with my husband or a friend, and working out to Zumba! I had considered wls surgery years ago but my insurance didn't cover it sadly. So I just thought I would never be able to do it. This year all my friends started having WLS and I was working out hard but felt like nothing was happening significant for me. Yes I went from a comfortable size 32 to a size 22/24 but I still felt trapped in my body! I prayed to God please help me you know my heart and desire! Late August I received a letter from my insurance company they are adding gastric weight loss surgery to our coverage! I almost passed out...but the before I could I just said look at God!!! I did nothing until I found they was going to change our insurance in 2013 and it wasn't going to be offered any longer. So I had my first appointment in November and was approved second wk in December!!! So I will be on the other side December 27th!!! Feeling blessed indeed!!![/size][/font][/b][/color]
