Do you find that if you eat more....
Greeky83 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You lose more? I think bc in my mind I feel I'm over eating (which realistically I am not Its significantly less than what I used to) I felt like I always had to eat super little throughout the day and wanted to keep losing. I feel the less I ate(and starving) the scale wouldn't budge or if it did it would be a lb after a week! I was away for this weekend and ate more than normal and lost lbs. I've noticed the less I try the more I lose the more I obsess and starve the less or none I lose. Anyone else feel the same ? My surgery date was on May 23 and Im down 90lbs. I want to lose another 20 ideally but for ultimate goal 45 more. I haven't been working out due to a broken foot since December so I am happy but I want to keep it going. Hopefully another month with a cast and I can go to the gym. Also do you guys still feel some soreness in your stomach? I feel that when I stretch or suck on my stomach it hurts... Not a lot but as if I did imaginary sit-ups or something lol. -
Is this just bloating or water weight or something? I was 253 like 3 days ago then dropped to 247 the next day which was a shock didn't do anything different. Then had a party to go to and ate small but obviously not the best food. Next day I was up 2lbs and then the day after up another 2lbs what the neck? Should I be worried I feel so discouraged now. I never gained like this before. I was down 80lbs from may 23 surgery date now I'm traumatized that I'll be gaining.

Ok lol I just feel paranoid I guess. I kind of liked the feeling after being full after 3 bites now I just eat small Norman portions and I feel like it's to much.

My surgery date was May 23 and I'm down 75lbs. My goal is to lose 35 more to go back to what I was years ago and was happy at but who knows I might go more if I can. My question is do you guys feel like you eat more and normal-ish again after 3-6 months after surgery ? I feel like I've been eating more but not like I used to obviously. It's still in my head that I feel starving and food won't fill me up but yea after a certain amount I can't and in down. I'm just afraid that overtime my stomach will stretch and go back to eating in excess again . Is that possible? Plus I haven't been to the gym bc I've had a broken foot since December and 3 surgeries past couple of months.

I've been taking a mens multi vitamin and a calcium supplement it's about 2 months after surgery. Do you guys take anying else or something that has enough of both? I hate taking multiple pills.

I have been on liquids since 2 weeks before surgery and this week as well but honestly I don't think I can anymore so sick of the protein shakes and stuff. Now I'm kind of trying out puree soft foods but not following her orders. I felt like I could so I'm trying it out is that bad ? The nut have me a paper saying to do 2 weeks liq. After surgery 2 weeks puree and 2 weeks soft food. I've read so many different diets from others some have soft food right few days after surgery! Do you guys think it's bad that I'm doing this? I've been strict with sugar and carb intake and still doing protein shakes. Lost 25 from surgery date (may 23) -

I always weighed myself everyday to keep me in check and I know that is probably a bad idea. You wake up feel thinner and you gained 3lbs I know its water weight fluctuations and whatever but it messes you up in the head. I had my surgery on the 23 of may and I've lost 15-20 lbs it goes up one day next it's less. It's driving me a little nuts. How often do you guys weigh yourself? And any ideas on how to keep yourself from doing it everyday? I feel like having my partner hide it and give it to me every 2 weeks -
Scared this isn't going to work for me...

I was sleeved on the 23rd of may and was in the hospital for two days. In those two days I was not hungry couldn't bare to look at anything. Now in starting to feel hungry again. I was used to barely eating and losing 15 lbs now I feel so by hungry I'm afraid to eat and afraid of gaining or something. Is this normal ? -

Hello everyone! 29m here I am new here. I am waiting for insurance to finalize everything and I am starting to get nervous. I just mind of want it over with already the more I wait the more I start freaking out. My whole life I've been yo-yoing not few lbs but more like 90-100. I can lose it easily but have a hard time keeping it off. I feel like my body just wants to be fat. Last year I was on hcg and lost 120 lbs and the. Within a year I gained it all back. I'm so embarrassed/depressed. I hope this will work for me and help me keep it off. Do you guys have any advice? Thank you
