I am 6 months out and have lost close to 60 pounds, which I LOVE. What I don't love is the flab that is showing up all over the place. I am doing well with the "flags" under my arms, but the inner thighs are just gross. Any suggestions on how to tighten this up?

Dec. 17 Sleevers - How are you on week out?
rglawler replied to sars's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Had my 2 week follow-up @ Friday. Doctor surprised that I said I was hungry. He said that it was possibly because I was not waiting long enough after meals to start drinking. Trying to wait longer, and seems to be helping. Went back to work yesterday. Started off alright, but once I started moving around and bending over alot the spot where my actual stomach was removed was burning like fire on the inside (is this normal?). I almost called it quits a few times and went home, but once I slowed down the pain subsided (Thank GOD). And is it just me, or does it feel like my taste buds were removed too!! I was SO looking for to the week of puree because I could have some normal food...but nothing tastes good. I love refried Beans, but they were just blah. Any suggestions? -

Quick question...What is everyone using to puree the small amounts of food we will be eating in this next phase? Roseanna -
I probably COULD eat my pudding in that amount of time, but I try my best to eat slowly. I am so excited when I eat pudding or soup (because it is like eating normal food) that I eat at least 1 cup. Worried that I am abnormal or something wrong because I feel hungry most of the time, and can consume so much. My post-op check up is tomorrow, and hoping for the best, Would hate to think that I have messed myself up in less than 2 weeks!

I am really glad you did it too. And I am sure that the masses will turn out to be nothing major.

How much are we supposed to be eating in the first few weeks/months? Taking anti acid, but still feel hungry alot. Eating what I am supposed to and only eating 3 or 4 times a day, but when I am eating my soup I am wanting more than 1/2 cup.
