I see him next week...can't wait to see if theres another medication he can give me for the hunger...I read it could be acid or heartburn that makes u feel hungry....ughhhh

Hey...glad to hear you are doing great. My surgery went well also, the spider technique...I am 1 week out and I lost 11lbs. My only concern is that I am constantly hungry. I eat something then an hour later I am hungry again....ughhh

I want some king cake sooo bad. I am thinking about just chewing some and taking it out my mouth...lol..I am craving boiled crawfish and boiled shrimp.oh my....this is really a challenge..lol...ughhh

Hello January sleevers...today make 7 days postop....I weighed myself...I lost 11.2lbs so far....I still feel bloated so i didn't think I lost much...yay to the liquid stage.."water weight"

Seem like you had a good 1st postop appt. Your Dr is very wise and knowledgeable. Did your Dr say why you are to do 3 more weeks of full liquid?

Txbrit....my sleeve is a female also...I named her Temperance because she is very temperamental. What I would think my stomach would not agree with, it loves it. Trust me, the crackers settled her down .lol. The peppermints does also. My sleeve is very odd.....ughhh

Thanks Jessi....I will do that. Next week Friday, 15 days postop , I am allowed soft foods. Now that is a stage I will embrace very cautiously...but I must admit, I am always hungry now. Not head hunger..real hunger...Ughhhh

Thanks Perez....I was just looking over a forum that said miso soup is good in the liquid stage ,but im not eating it no more because it was too salty and I got real dizzy. As far as crackers, I ate about 10 so for; Between the 3rd day post op through tonight.it seem to settle my stomach and my new sleeve allows it. But I only eat them if needed.I also suck on peppermints to settle my stomach sometimes. My sleeve accepted the mints and I was shocked. Thanks for the advice...no more miso soup for me...ughhh

Hey January sleevers...I have a question. I am 6 days out today and I kept reading about miso soup. I bought some and ate it tonight. I really really loved the taste of it apart from my regular blah broth,lol...well its was very tasty and now my head is sorta spinning. Is that really a good soup of choice? I am afraid to eat anymore, it tasty salty but I love salt. Please let me know if that is a good soup for the full liquid stage. Now I have to eat crackers to help myself feel better. Ughhhh

Today I started full liquids...so I attempted to drink my protein shake by total lean shake....I took about 4 sips and about 1hour later, I had those lactose intolerant bouts....feeling like I was having contractions...omg.... Diarrhea 3times...omg...the label read its lactose free, my Nutritionist said it should be safe since I am highly lactose intolerant. Omg....I'm afraid to sip it again...so I went back to my G2 and mixed my protein liquid in it.

Hey, I was sleeved 4 days ago and I drove 3 days later. I haven't taken any pain medication since the 1st day so I knew I wasn't on narcotics. It hurted turning and some pressing on the brake. But I survived it ..lol

i am 4 days post op and i am starving. I can barely drink my liquids because it burns so much. So, its not head hunger, its mouth and stomach hunger i am feeling because of the lack of fluids i can intake. I read how others would have a hard time getting in fluids and i never thought it would happen to me, but it did. Tomorrow i start my full liquids, hopefully my sassy new stomach can intake my protein shakes i will try. i was so hungry, i sucked on a cracker top, lol then i crunched it up and spit it out. Good luck everyone!!!

I noticed that sucking on a peppermint or chew gum my stomach settles.I know both are a no no but that's what help me. So I carefully watch how I do it as not to swallow it...ughhhh

Hey.. I was sleeved on the 31st on Jan...I am hurting drinking cold or tap water...my sleeve is very temperamental. I named her Temperance!! I am drinking maybe 3oz a day....I need help knowing when to drink during the day and when to stop....should I be sipping all during the day or stop for hours then continue???help wut should I do.

Glad to hear others are feeling better than myself. But I do feel better today than yesterday.I dry heeved several times. Since surgery, I probably drank 2 oz. Soups are ok to drink but I can only get in about 2 tablespoons in. I drank a few spoonsful of isopure but that's all. So I am definitely not getting my liquids in because of this Diva Sleeve inside me now that is telling me how much she can eat...ughhh

They sent me home with dissolving prevacid but when I got home,I noticed they filled prevacid capsules and I live 3 hours away from that pharmacy....ugh...now I have to wait till no day to do anything else....ugh....I normally try to watch when pharmacies fill my meds especially since I work in a pharmacy,but I was too sick ever since the surgery. Since surgery on the 31st, I think I might have drank 2 to 3 oz. My stomach is very temperamental. I don't know what to do about it...Ughhh

Hey everyone..I wish I could've gone back to the hospital but I live 3 hours away and I was on the way back home when I dry heeved two times. I made it home..I jus took a few sips of jello in between me sleeping...I am holding it in but I did get the wet mouth as if I was gonna throw up again but I didn't. I didn't have gas as an issue so I am thankful for that. Wish me luck everyone, I am having a hard time right now. Ughhhh

Oh Lord...please help me. I am one day postop and I am on my way back home 3 hours and I am having lots of dry heaving real bad. I feel like driving back to the hospital. I am not doing well with drinking...helpe...u don t know. Wut to do....ughhhh

Well I am 1 day postop...omg...I dry heaved really bad and now my stomach is sore...I'm gettin sick off all the pain meds. I can't do the crystal light drinks..too sweet, and I personally hate lemon and orange flavors. Well on the 1st day..I barely drank or ate anything..and this hospital have really bad cell reception...ugh..so its hard for me to send anything on my phone

I'm on the way to the hospital...I am hungry an my mouth is dry...im thirsty..oh and I'm sleepy..lol...wish me luck. Omg
