I feel pty good except for the energy level ! I was sleeved on Dec 13th.I think we just have to give our bodies time , It was no little surgery! Feel better!

Susie My doctor did not order any acid reducers which do you think is the best of the ones in the posts on the subject?

Thanks for the imput so helpful, I was sleeved on Dec 13th. I live in Austin had my surgery in Houston so I think this will really be my support group.Happy Ney Year!

My doctor did not prescribe anything! I think I will take a tums here and there. trying to get of meds not take more...... Great imput did any of your doctors say it would help heal the sleeve?

Is that a prescription? Is Prilosec otc? Thanks again for the information!

Gosh so sorry about you keeping stuff down not sure what that foamy stuff is but I know I have seen it written about somewhere. How do you have the enery to do all that stuff I was sleeved December 13th and I am pooped?

I know exactly what you mean I was sleeved Dec 13th and find I need to eat a little about evey three hours. I was not put on an acid blocker medicine. Not sure is eveyone? I can't explain the feeling. Still on puree foods have not had nausea or any throwing up. Thankful for that. I cannot get all the water in?Really not thrilled with pushing so many fluids I still seem to have some edema in my ankles by the end of the day.

I was sleeved in Houston but live in Austin . I went to the Davis Clinic. My surgeon was Garth Davis not sure if any of you ever saw Big Medicine TV show ? Doing okay have lost 15 pounds since surgery have not had nausea or any trowing up...So good so far just do not think I am gettin enough protien yet ! On puree food?

I was sleeved in Houston I live in Austin. I put on 10 lbs the next two days after surgery. My surgeon had taken me of all my blood pressure meds.Called and spoke to the nurse on that following monday after surgery took a water pill the next day I wa 8 lbs down. When I got home 7 days later the same thing started happening water weight plus my blood pressure was 160/100 Wow! Since my cadio Dr. here in austin he told me to go back on all my meds water drop another 7 lbs my blood pressure is now normal. Can't fiqure out why this has happened but if you are on blood pressre I would certainly monitor it closely!! You made need a water pill. I was told this kind water retention could have put me into heart failure..Good luck! how is it going oterwise what kind of food ore you on now?cuteasabutton
