    Protein Shots

My surgeon is really against them. What you to get your protien from food. Dr. Garth Davis in Houston. Beans fruits and veggies and some meat. They do taste horrible!

    Now it feels real....

I was terrified the night before surgery. So hard to explain. Happy at the same time! Its normal hard to explain to your spouse or anyone you just have to go through it and get to the other side!! Good Luck first couple of week are the most overwelming and then you get your act together and it gets easier. I am 7 weeks out.

That seems extreme to me not enough protien or calories. You are definetly in a starvation mode. Think you need to up the protein to at least 60 gram and calories 600-800. If you read the posts here I think most would agree. I eat every 3 hours something really small 2-3 oz. I think it help keep your metabolizism up?! Just saying.........

I am thrilled scale is moveing there is hope for all our December sleevers! What I did is cut out all carbs for 2 days started drinking water through a really thin straw was easier to get the water in scale has moved 3 lbs. Gosh! just hope I did not jink myself, starting to smile again! 5 weeks out started adding regular food . Have had no problems....Had some salmon last night . Think it is going to be alot easier getting the protien in now! So excited!! Hang in everyone , I think they are right it will happen, the scale will move again. What a relief!!

    Blood Pressure

I am 4 weeks out going on 5 . Just saw may primary doctor yesterday. I am still on some of my bp meds. If the stystolic drops under ninety that is to low you could pass out. Your diastolic should not drop below 60. So you really need to watch it! They have taken me off most of my bp meds but still on some. My surgeon took me off all in the beginning but my cardio is tapering me off more slowly. Good Luck!

  17. My doctor told me not to use my machine in the hospital because the pressure would blow into the new sleeve. I have not used it since for the same reason did not want to chance a leak. I am 1 month out. My husband said he does not hear me snore, can't really understand if this could be possible but I think it might be! AMEN

Seriously this makes more since, thanks for responding. Make a big differance on how you feel with all these huge loss numbers coming out to realize many are post surgery losses included not just post op from surgery date. Makes me feel a a bit better. Someone must have an definative answer on how to break a stall how long can they last. It's just driving me nuts! Thanks for he info on the shakes you tried the samples and they were good you say not thick like the whey shakes?
