I have had someone say to me that they were against medical weight loss surgery and that " Healthy Eating+exercise= weight loss". And that she hopes our medical coverage isn't paying for it . You will always have people think you don't need it. I haven't told anyone but family and friends. When I got my orientation date I expressed my happiness on a local forum and got that. Now the person has since apologized but doesn't take the sting or the feeling of not expressing my want or Need for the surgery. I am only a bmi of 41 and have been told I don't need it either. But we both know there's healthy and emotional reasons why we need it. All the power to you girl -

Congrats on your weight loss! :-) -
My god I am some happy to find a app for this! A little bit about myself. I am only just starting my journey! Been on the wait list for the last 14 months and just got the call to start the process. I have my orientation for jan3! They tell me I will be done within the year of orientation. I'm guessing 6-8 months I should be gone by the way they are progressing. I am type 2 diabetic. Plus high cholesterol. I've always battled with weight. I lose 30-40 lbs but it always seems to find me. After thinking really hard I know this is the best decision for me! ( and my kids). My family are so so on the supportive side. They keep saying to me " you can gain the weight back you know" and " you can stretch your stomach back". And I keep saying that I won't. As I'm determine that I would succeed this time. I am Having dreams and everything about the new me!
