breast size (for women)
UEvrWndrY replied to ********'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is gonna sound weird, but so far I have gone from a 44C to a 38D. I was wearing "full figured" bras and I swear to god the cup size on them is larger than a normal bra. They were so big over the weekend I had to go buy new bras. At first I was upset because I thought my boobs were fading away, but when I started trying in all the normal 38C's they were all too small. Into a 38D and perfecto. I hope the cup size stays and just the band continues to shrink. Sent from my iPad using VST -
I beg to differ. I see a huge difference! Amazing. I wish my tummy looked that much smaller and I am a few weeks past you. Congratulations!

So I must be a little loony because for the last 13 days since I have been sleeved the only TV I have watched is either food Network or the Cooking Channel. At first I think it was to live vicariously through Guy Fieiri and the judges on Chopped, but now half of the nasty dive food makes me think how did I ever eat sh*t like that?! I've moved on to the stage of thinking, "Hrmmmm that is a nice Protein packed meal, I wonder how it would taste puréed..." Am I the only one obsessed with these channels? Sent from my iPad using VST

Good luck! I was sorry to hear your surgery was delayed so long, but glad that the findings were not anything serious! Sent from my iPad using VST

Hi VSG'rs I wanted to share this website I came across last night. I was looking for something to spruce up my Protein Shakes for an occasional treat! The recipes here are all Protein Powder based and they look amazing. I tried the Samoa recipe and it was amazing. I don't recommend it for every day, because they are almost like dessert, but it's definitely something to try. Protein and it is AWESOME.. I tried the unjury Unflavored and it smelled awful and made me gag. This Jay Robb stuff is (for me anyway) completely undetectable in everything I have tried so far (Crystal Light, Trop 50, Soups, etc). I've used the Jay Robb vanilla and a lot of the Syntrax Nectars and they are all very good! Sent from my iPad using VST

Syntrax Nectar Caribbean Cooler
UEvrWndrY replied to DonRodolfo's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
/Agree Most of the Syntrax are fabulous. I have been living on them since surgery. The Fuzzy Navel is also awesome! I highly recommend them to folks who are tired of the chocolate/vanilla scene. Sent from my iPad using VST -
Becoming discouraged...Need Help
UEvrWndrY replied to kfrobison's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was in a similar place last week. My surgery was on the 19th as well and I had only lost about 13lbs. I didn't lose anything for about a week and a half and then it just started moving again. My change was I was finally able to move to puréed food and get a few more calories in. -
Holy cow, I had my almost 4 week but not quiet checkup today and they gave me the green light for purées today! Haaaapppppppppppy happppyyyy joy joy. Never been so happy to eat mush. I have all these recipes lined up in my head that I just can't wait to try. Today was a great day to an awful week. Haaappppy Friday! Sent from my iPad using VST

UEvrWndrY replied to michelleooo513's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got mine from Lauren's Hope. It's a super cute vintage looking flower bracelet. I get tons of compliments and no one ever notices the ID tag on the back. -

My husband did the same thing and it was probably the most supportive thing anyone has ever done for me. He also lost 25lbs during it! Sounds like your hubs is one of the super great ones!!

It's is a hijack but omg I love Potbelly and they don't have them where I live now. That might be a hard place to resist after VSG. He will have to make sure he doesn't bring it home!! Sent from my iPad using VST -

Whaer the 5'7 ish people at?
UEvrWndrY replied to Bos123's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 5'7" (although my doctor says I've shrunk to 5'6 1/2"!). High weight was 248. Surgery date was 3/19 and I was 228, lost 20 in two weeks of pre-op. Currently sitting at 214 so I have only lost 14 in the 3+ weeks since surgery. I would love to be at 150-160 at the end of everything. Anything lower than that and I feel like I would look tooooo skinny. However I don't remember what I look like at that weight so I might change my mind when I get there! -

/rant on Uughhh, just need to get this off my chest. I am about three weeks post op and my surgeon has a four week liquid phase requirement prior to moving to purées. Add that to a two week pre-op phase and I am getting close to the end of my tolerance for liquids. I have not cheated and I will not, but man I am ready for some refried beans!!! I have had a complication free journey so far (knock on wood), no problems with liquids of any kind. I know these weeks are such a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things but man did I mention I want some refried Beans?? With cheese and sour cream maybe, oh and guacamole. I can make it one more week, but d****t I want something other than liquid! (Have I mentioned that Mexican food is/was my favorite thing in the world...) Ok, I feel better. /rant off Sent from my iPad using VST

Nasty little boogers that some folks looooooveeee. I think they are foul, lol but I am a southern transplant and get laughed at for my stance on them. Hahahahah How about making some quiches or frittatas ahead and eating for Breakfast? I know it's eggs again but somehow quiche always tastes different/better than just scrambled eggs. Yah, no yogurt, cottage cheese, etc until purée phase. I was doing great at first but now I'm struggling a little to get all my Protein and Water in. Not because of the inability to hold it, just cause the idea of another Protein Shake makes me ill. My check in is on Friday so I am praying they let me move up a few days early that day.
