    Chips, crackers, pitas?

I love Beanitos! All of the flavors are great! When I do have the urge or if I know I'm going to be somewhere where others are going to but pounding down regular chips, I take these. Sent from my iPad using VST

protein bars with only 2.5 net carbs & ZERO sugar

Kristie, have they given you any um, digestive issues? I remember when I was low carbing on Atkins many years ago and the sugar free candies and bars came out with the no impact sugar alcohols they acted like a laxative for a lot of people, me included!! If they haven't given you issues I might try them, they look good!

    Flavorless Protein?

Jay Robb Egg White Unflavored is the only one I really think is unflavored. I tried tons of others and I think this one is the best. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using VST

Do you need any of the New Life Powdered Vitamins, Soups, etc? I have a bunch from my pre op that I didn't use that are just collecting dust... Sent from my iPad using VST
  6. I was sleeved on 3/19/13 and have not had any issues. Everything tastes the same, no intolerances to anything, no pain, nausea or any type of surgical complication side effects, no regrets. Sent from my iPad using VST
  7. I am so sorry that this happened to you! You just experienced the biggest fear of half the world population! That being said, you are a wonderful storyteller and I know I shouldn't have but I did laugh quite loudly out loud (there may have been a snort involved also) while reading this. Thank you for being brave enough to tell this story because it was probably the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Now no more beer cheese soup! Unless you are at home...or constipated. 8. Hi All, I just cleaned out my closet and I have tons of size 18-20W dress pants, jeans, and capris and tons of late spring/summer tops. I work in semi-professional office so most of this is geared towards business casual. Most are fairly new and have very few wears, some still have tags. I haven't gotten around to taking photos of everything yet but I am working on it. For sizing reference, I am 5' 6.5" and was about 250ish and a 44C/D when wearing these clothes. All items come from a clean, non-smoking home, but I do have two dogs so be aware if you have allergies. I am asking $5 per item plus shipping just because I need to buy new clothes . If anyone wants to buy bulk I am sure we can work something out. Please message me if you are interested or if you are looking for something in particular in those sizes and I will send information when I get the photos done. Thanks! Sent from my iPad using VST

    ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday!!! Send me that card! They are building one in out town set to open next week! I loved it in the city where we used to live before, if no one could decide what type of food they wanted we could go there because it had something from like every food group. That is where my husband first met my parents, too. Oh crap wait. no wonder I was fat... You can sell the online for other cards I believe.. Trade it for a Kohls card and buy new clothes! New Orleans eating out

So true! Stay away from the beignets!! I was there on a trip when I was four weeks out and ate at the Palace Cafe (fish with beurre blanc sauce omg best fish ever) and Mr. Bs Bistro. Both were very accommodating and had great food. Nice thing about the food there is that there is a lot of seafood and its usually places that cook more home style/elegant plates than you average Applebee's, etc. If you had been in the Garden District I would tell you to go to the Irish House. One of the best meals I have ever had.

question for foodies at least months post op

Each person is of course different, but I have been very happy with the variety of foods I can make post surgery. The first several weeks suck of course, but now that I am on normal food I can modify anything to fit the plan. I do miss the bread and Pasta on occasion but I have found I can make those dishes without all the carbs and just be as satisfied. Tonight's dinner was "Chili's Southwestern Eggrolls" just without the tortilla roll and it was better than Chili's. I am enjoying all the creative food I am making. So I would say you will be fine! 15. I see it! I think he definitely has some Ridgeback in him down the road somewhere. Not every one has the ridge, there are some that pop out without it. Could very well be one of those in this family tree. He is a bit smaller and lighter than a typical RB so he probably does have lab mixed in. He is a very handsome boy. How do you say no to those faces?!? Oh, that's right...you don't! Sent from my iPad using VST
  16. We have two Rhodesian Ridgeback fur children. Xuya is a 3 year old boy and Xiva is a 1.5 year old girl. They are our babies and the best dogs evvveeerrrr. Except when the steal food off the counter. Sent from my iPad using VST

Do smells bother anyone after surgery?

Yes! My nose went into hypersensitivity and I can smell everything!!! I am finding that I am most sensitive to other people's smell now. It's so weird. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Sick of shakes

Try a different protein powder. I use Jay Robb Unflavored Egg protein in crystal light, Gatorade, etc and it works great and has no taste.

    Tastless protein powder?

Everyone's tastes are different but I tried Unjury and thought it was gross. I use the Jay Robb Egg White Unflavored Powder in all my drinks and soups an its great.
  20. You look great! I'd say its up to you if you level out or keep going! On a side note, It's so strange how different people carry different weight. I'm less than an inch shorter than you and am at 202 and still in a woman's 18/16. I can say with certainty that you look A LOT smaller than I do. Either way you go, you have done great and I am glad your thrilled with the new you! Sent from my iPad using VST
