am almost 14 weeks out; when I was first cleared for the stage 5 diet I was very concerned with how little I could eat and how difficult it was to eat things like chicken. My surgeon said don't worry, everyone is at their own pace and it is okay to stay on mostly liquids longer. He was right, your body lets you know if what your eating is not working. I can eat almost anything now, although beef and pork are still easier for me than chicken. Morning shakes also work well for me, I get half my protein and a quarter of my fluid on my drive to work. I started with premixed but now make my own with skim milk, protein, and fresh fruit using a ninja.
