    Jan 17 for me, been on my pre op/liver shrinking diet since Dec 28. Down 18lbs. Leave 1 week tomorrow for San Diego. Dr Ismael Cabrera will be performing my sleeve. Almost time. Good luck to everyone this week.

    All the reviews I've seen have been good but there are not alot of reviews out there on them though. I'm booked with them on the 17.

    Getting around after surgery

    I'm having my sleeve on the 17 and have booked 5 weeks off to make sure i can handle working on my feet for 8-10 hour days. I also lift heavy pots and boxes. I think every person reacts diffrently and you just have to wait and see.

    The first 3 days were the hardest. I'm a Chef and around food every second at work. But I'm 8 days into my liver shrinking diet and have lost 14lb. It will get easier. It's hard not to think of food though, but it's the choice i've made and I'm sticking too this. Good luck.
