constipation (not for those that get queasy)
Phatcurves replied to Mita's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Mary I really appreciate your post. Having recently had constipation, all of your experiences should help me in the future, when I get banded. -
Hey Well I am not quite the exercise guro YET, but I have made it to 25 min without a cramp. Yay, next step 35 then 45. Thanks for the encouragement,
-
I know what you mean about not wanting to go to the phych, I guess people who have self esteem problems in the first place feel uncomfortable being evaluated.
-
Thanks everyone, now I just have to be accepted by the Dr. I am really hoping to have my surgery in Feb, because I only have one art show. The rest of the month I could recoup. Thanks again, looking forward to a firm date..

Melissa, WTG! You look and sound on top of the world. You are an inspiration to us unbanded souls. LOL

I know what you mean Zoe, the ellipitical is quite an invention. LOL It cracks me up to think that I used to be able to do 45 minutes straight. Haha It is a great machine though. When I went to the Duke Diet and Fitness center in Raliegh, I lost 5 inches in my waist in a month due to that machine. Melted my Butt right off. Of course when I came home the lack of exercise made the 5 inches incame back with reinforcments. Oh well

Delara, Keep one resolution, Sounds great! Such a practical goal.

Thanks everyone, It just really frustrates me. I remember how athletic I used to be. ARGGHHH. LOL Thats ok. My husband reminded me as you all did that the fact that I got on the bike in the first place shows a great comitment to my new life. My plan is just to try to get on every day and gradually build up my endurance. Then I have that elliptical machine to conquer. It stares at me on the other side of the living room every morning, like a dusty challenger. Oh well one battle at a time! Thanks everyone, I will keep you posted on my progress.

Leo, Wowie, thanks for sharing that information. I hope to be banded in Feb. and I have printed this list to reference. Thanks again,

A year ago a Port revision and Pbing would have meant something completely different. Probably, something about Peanut Butter and a new terminal for a cruise ship. I am about to venture into bandland, hopefully in Febuary. Needless to say I am full of nervous anticipation with a kick A** mentality (Im scared, LOL). All of Dr. Lopez patients who have had a problem, I just want to say that my heart goes out to you. Delarla your port problems have opened my eyes to what I am getting into. Problems like that can occur to anyone at any time, however, it is always the responsbilty of the DR. to follow up and take care over the patient who trusted him with HIS OR HER life. My HEART GOES OUT TO YOU. I just wanted to let everyone know how much your posts mean to me. I used to be a lurker, (its not a bad thing) but all of your posts and information has made me feel stronger. I feel like I have got hundreds of people behind me. Thank you all for your support and guidence. Rachel B 330/HOpeful/LUrker no more

Heather, You look great. Keep up the good work.... My husband and I think that color red look beautiful on you. Rachel B 330/Hopeful -
A couple of jokes my mom just told me............ Semi Religious (NOT): Everyone is in church one sunday in the country, when all of the sudden in the middle of the sermon, the devil descends into the church. EVERYONE runs screeming from the church except the minister and one old farmer. The devil turns to the minister and says, "I know why you didn't leave, you preach against me every Sunday, but why didn't he leave". The old farmer says, "I thought you would recognize me, I've been married to you sister for 38 years." Non dirty: A woman goes into a bar and walks up to the bartender. Says "you got to help, you got to help me i am desperate." I need five hundred dollars, and I am soooooo desperate I will do anything. He says "anything" she says "anything, I need five hundred dollars desperately". So he goes to the cash register and pulls out five hundred dollars and hands it to her, and says PAINT MY HOUSE!!!!!!! Dirty: An older gentleman was persuing an older ladie constantly around the retirement home, DESPERATE to go to bed with her. She didn't want to have anything to do with him! Finally, he is soooooo desperate, he says "I WILL GIVE YOU 2500.00 dollars." She says ok then. They go to bed, afterwards he is ecstatic. He says "That was unbelievable, if I had know you were a virgin, I would have given you 5,000.00." She said, "If I had known you could get still get it up I would have taken off my panty hose." New Hope, my family always tells me to right down all that runs through my head, so when If I write a book I have everything ready. Better leave 2 or 3 chapters for pychological oddities like that. PBing to Port Revisions
Phatcurves replied to Phatcurves's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
One thing I realized while looking for a full bodied pic, is that I usually stand behind everyone. Just one of the many things that I look forward to changing. I also confess to not pulling my car up paralell to another car for fear that someone might be looking at me. Never looking people in the eye, needing xanex before I visit my family in NY etc. LOL I could probably go on and on. (VENT) I will have to round up all my good before pics with my whole body exposed. GL Rachel B :banana :banana :banana 330/Hopeful -

Pat, Actually I took that photo last week, LOL I am a professional artist. I held my digital up in the air so it was taking the pic downward. Below is a pic of me with no bells and whistles. Of course I am standing next to a very thin person, I am sure I look like UMPA LUMPA hahaha. Thanks for your support and kind words. Rachel B 330/Hopeful -
Audrey, You look great, you are glowing... Thanks for sharing your success with us. Rachel B 330/soon to be banded
