A bit concerned , I can eat fine sometimes at night. Its very frustrating I could eat my salads and chicken salad some days for lunch and some days nothing not sure what's going on, has anyone had same symptoms? My doctor's office says stress and menstrual cycle can cause this !!!! Cheezzz it's very frustrating .:help:Going for another unfill Jan 8th - - Oh yeah,cookies and junk like that go down just fine and when I can't eat the good foods I like Chicken breast & my salad I bring it up and then grab a cookie and want to satisfy myself. Defeating the whole purpose of having the band , you know :think

gayleepoo Hi going through same kind of issues, not sure what's going on.Unitl I totally got unfilled I couldn't even eat a salad like I used to and at night when I get up to go to the restromm I would grab a drink of water and water wasn't even going down. I see my DR again next week. A bit concerned I could not eat chicken salad homemade with a bit of mayo. Something seems odd just don't know what . I'm thinking to ask him to just fill me like 1.5 or something. But he also made remark about my body rejecting the band (weird) I have ask about this on the band waiting to hear the replys.Let me know what happens with you. GOOD LUCK DEAR ! Hi Brianne79 , I'm totally unfilled right now because of restriction problems. Have had 1 fill after surgery and had to go for two unfills to no fill.Now I'm able to eat whatever.NOT GOOD.My DR seems to think my body is rejecting the BAND hope this is not so, if anyone has heard of this please let me know.He seemed a bit aggrevated in me because I have no weight lost .I went for the barium swallow last week which came out ok,and couldn't get in to see him until the 29th,I was thinking of asking to try 1.5 fill I don't want to have removed ,just very discouraged right now.Let me know how you are ok. THis bandster is so confused in what to do.Has anyone heard of the powder protein mixed causing a build up of blockage maybe? CONFUSED :wink2:

Wow I'm not alone. I currently have lost only 20LBS since my surgery May 25,2007. I'm very discouraged also. Since Octocber I have not been able to the way we should be able to. And very frustrated with foods also.I have ahd a total unfill now for 2 weeks and really afraid of gaining weight back. I went to have to have the Barium swallow after the unfill and everything seems clear. My doctor seems has if my body is rejecting the band I have an appointment next week the 29th, But I with just 2.0 fill I wasn't able to eat only at night and certain things that are not good for you, except the protein drinks.It's as though something I was drinking or eating was causing a blockage. My DR said no power drinks but I was doing protein shakes in the morning because your able to add fruit or whatever. I have not told him yet I was. And he states that can cause a blockage so I think I may be in trouble. Will let you know.I hope you are better WE CAN"T GIVE UP ! Sandra

Thanks for some good info. I do have my protein shakes every morning I know that is pretty much all I can have occasionally I can do boiled eggs to get my protein just to get something different. I pretty much have to have with my coffee t get down but it works out pretty good. Yep hardly ever get a lunch ! Thanks for the help. Sandra

I just had cousins that had to move from Colorado here because of his job works for the energy department , they had a rode awakening .Or rsther is daugther did. They had never seen so many mexicans lol.Said he was going to have to take up spanish. We have been pricing some good used 2 axle trailers that will hold at least 4 bikes. Seems senseless to buy new so many people go buy new and keep a couple of years and then sell them. I can't wait until I can wear a siz 6 chaps Girly. I went ahead and purchased my first pair from Fox Creel up in Virginia they are a great place to buy leather from they custom make chaps. But i was same way about has wide has tall I hated giving my measurements - YUK ! I'm hoping when I drop some pounds I can send back and let them size them babies down for me. I bet ya'll love living there . I want to be able to visit Colorado sometime and Spartanburg,SC where I was born SOME DAY. Its great reading everyone's stories. Keep posting. And like you said it's just getting use to eating and living with the band sounds like yo have done great. I hope I can do good. Hi Vicki J , Hope the hubby is up and feeling better ,give him some of those soothing back rubs !! I know ... sometimes we have to suck it up and baby them .Its hard but we can do it. Well hope your doing good and riding I may take a trip around town today . I have some chores to do here at home that require a trip to the hardware store that require my truck and not my scooter )dawn it.. But will try and get that stuff wacked out and take a evening ride. If ya'll make it to College Station have a safe trip . Me and the Bf are planning on some road trips but out of Texas and with a TRAILER Relaxing road trips .HE retires in Sept at the ripe old age of 55. Must be nice !!! He has passion and its Harley's .He has 4 Classic's .And doesn't have time to ride any right now. I'm afraid he won't really retire and enjoy them you know. He ahs a dozer business up North and has Cat equipment he will operate more into once he retires , I think he is looking forward to being more involved in that and getting out of his city job. JA4602, HI, I had my fill.I'm at 2.0cc total . No more pains except if I eat to much . I have notice if I eat foods or liquids that may be gassie. Like some soups I LOVE I notice I get pains. So I have given up some , like Butter bean ,chichen enchilada those kinds of foods. But post opt was rough for me. I think it was more gas then anything . Hope you are doing better. Weighed today I'm at 190. Didn't loose any this past week.Going to have to work harder !! Keep in touch .I hope its not anything requiring surgery again.Good Luck ! Sandra

Louisiana huh. mmmm I love Gumbo , I have my own little receipe I make a huge pot and freeze so I can feed my Bf and a girlfriend at work who's from Louisiana. She doesn't cook much AT ALL ! So I make extra and take to her,she says its pretty good for a Texas girl. I have never seen anyone eat so much Tabassco sauce geezzzz.I would be on fire. I like a little spice much not much. She manages to keep her weight off though but she works hard at it.She's a great motivater for me. Good luck adn you should do just fine. Keep in touch ! Sandra:p
