leeann71 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was just reading info on the post being resleeved( I think that one) and there was some info done on like 57 people and some their weight came back some had to get the DS. Im just wondering what will happen to us. Will the hunger hormone come back, did the dr remove enough of my fundus? I actually scared myself while reading that info. I dont want to have surgery again. -
Im wondering how to reset my metabolism. I know I need more calories and excersize, I just dont know where to begin. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Glad to hear. Take it easy and get some much needed rest.

Get ahold of your surgeon or pcp soon. You don't want to become dehydrated and end up in the hospital. Good luck and keep us updated.

What state are you in? I have always dreamed of living in a place like yours! Lucky you!

How did you get your insurance to approve the surgery?

Cold Summer Treats That Are Weight Loss Surgery Friendly
leeann71 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
You can always get a sugar free snow cone! They have come up with great flavors and zero calories. Here in Texas, with this heat you have to have some kind of frozen treat. -

From my understanding, the ice part of it is sugar water frozen. My source is my daughter who is a manager at Sonic.

Obviously you don't know me so how can you say what I meant! I am trying to understand where you are coming from with your defence but for the life of me I can't. To me you are one of those people who have to see it for your self to believe it ( right). As far as that goes you second guess everyone, probably even a child who says their parents hit them. You dont see bruises or cuts so yo probably think they are doing it for attention. I hope nothing bad ever happens to you because karma is a bitch! -

Why are you so obsessed with Susan? This is not her truth! It is the truth of seven women who came forward with a warning! She just so happens to be the person that was not afraid to get the truth out there about a man who likes to seduce obese women. If they would have come to me or any other person on here they could trust, I would have been the one standing up for them and warning other women who might go to that company. -

Yes I mean it in a positive way. We all have had a lover in our lives , it's up to us to decide which lover we want to be with. -

Wow! Latin lover is in no way in the same category as the other two! What is wrong with people being called lover? We are all some ethnicity of love . -

Your kidding right! How does showing a picture of sambo to African Americans the same as saying latinos are latin lovers? There is a huge difference between the two! All the latinos I know and are acquainted with they are proud to be known as very sexual people! I have been married to my latin lover for 28 years. -

No I would rather not elaborate on mine or anyone else's religious beliefs. I just hope and pray that this post has given enough warning out there to the future patients of this doctor. Even though the doctor is great, you need to be warned about his seducing coordinator and all the other hoopla that will happen if you fall for his tactics. -

So you are saying you have the God given right to condemn people! So tell me how does it feel when people judge you? Adultery is not the reason this post was started. If you go back to the begining it is about a man who has been seducing women and warning other women not to fall for his tactics and lies. -

Excuse me! Seriously who are you that you know anything about me? I am the only person on here so far that has used that scripture. I know exactly what it means do you? Probably not since you are here judging people. If you are a God fearing person you should know it's not your or anyone else's place to judge people. He will judge when its time. -

Babygirl 1987, since you are so obsessed withe her marriage vows and Christ why are you judging her? You who are without sin shall cast the first stone! -

All I can say is WOW! All of this is so sad! To be taken advantage of when you are at your lowest point and afraid is so wrong. I am pretty sure almost all of us have been a victim at some time in our lives because of our obesity. Instead of fighting we need to stand together and protect our mothers, sisters , daughter's and so forth from the predators in this world. No matter who is a fault here, emotions were played upon and it needs to end. -
My future and my sleeve....
leeann71 replied to Unhappysleever's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Stay positive and take one day at a time. No one knows what the future holds for any of us. Don't worry about what could happen. Concentrate on the now and how well you are doing and how far you have become ok. -
Ex-Friend Keeps Writing Negatively About Me on Different Blogs and Web Sites
leeann71 replied to Sharon C.'s topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Wow with friends like her you sure don't need enemies! Real friends would never drag your problem out in to the public eye for starters. A real friend will stick by you thick and thin no matter what any situation is. They are there when you fall and when you are on top of the world. I myself accepted being fat along time ago, but I chose to have surgery a year and half ago because I wNted to live a long life . Most of all of us , if not had surgery or lost weight some how with out regaining would probably die from some obesity realated problem. The thing is we do love ourselves! We love ourselves enough to continue living. Your friend will grow up oneday and realize what you did was the best thing for you and no matter how she feels in say 10 to 20 years from now you are the one who will be healthy and loving life. She will probably still be 300 plus pounds and still vegan and no where near as happy and healthy as you will be. Good luck you made the right choice for you!
