You both look FANTASTIC!!!!! Congratulations!!! -
Hang in there! Are you taking your measurements? Your body needs time to catch up. You should be losing inches. Stay away from that scale, it will only bring heart ache. Keep up the work you are doing great!

I lost my mom from cancer in 1993. I was only 21 yrs old. To me it was the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life. Go and be with her every minute of everyday if you can. The hardest thing I learned at that time is they never come back and you will miss her sooo much. You only get one mother in your life. Cherish every second you have and tell her every minute how much you love and adore her. Tell her what she has meant to you your entire life. Im so sorry you are going through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. One more thing, dont bottle your feelings, cry and cry and cry some more, let your emotions be felt and it will hopefully help you some during this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are for you our sleeve brother. Although I did not know you, you were still part of my sleeve family. My condolences are for your family and friends. There are no words that can help ease their pain only prayers and time can do that. God be with you all Amen.

I had to have mine changed twice. I still to this day have problems with acid especialy after I eat. So then I take pepcid chewables or tums to help the ppi Im on. You might want to get ahold of your pcp and have him/her get you a prescription for some stronger. My surgeon said I would probably have to use them for at least 6 months.

What's your averag weight loss?
leeann71 replied to Sdonovan78's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mini, It is probably best to get rid of your scale, it is only making you frustrated. The weight will come off, it might take a little time. Remember you didnt put all that weight on at one time. Keep positive and dont stress just keep doing what you are. Sdonovan You are losing very fast, you have lost more weight than me and I was sleeved12/4/12. If you are having a stall it is just your body catching up with the weightloss. Start doing your measurements and keep writing them down everytime you stall and you will see the difference. Also take a picture of yourself every week or two and compare them. You will see the difference there as well. Good luck to you both. We are here for your support. -

Hang in there. I have twin girls also they are 22yrs old. Try your hardest to keep yourself positive. You will be ok, cause God knows those babies need their momma and their momma needs them. Remember always why you have chose to do this, and I assume to be there for your girls their whole life, and having this surgery will prolong your health and life. You are goona be ok and yes these are normal feelings not knowing the what ifs. Take care of yourself and try to stay positive, this is probably one of the most important decision in your and their lives. Keep us updated we can help you along the way. God bless

Im not exactly sure, what I do know about it is it takes a long time to recover and most likely you will have to have more surgeries. Some people have a stint put in and some like ( Iggychic) have a claw on hers. You can always search the forum for complications or leak and find out some really great information on it.

leeann71 replied to sherytuta's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That sounds great. Start off at 20 minutes and work yourself up as much as you can. I am more than happy to support you through this journey anytime :-D -
I agree it is the best. I had my surgery 12/4/12. First saw surgeon on 10/24/12 and was approved in like 5 days. As for deductable mine was 3000.00 but Dr. Kim has it where no one pays over1500.00 out of pocket. I ended up paying 976.00 total.

The tredmill is a great idea. As for your surgeon he should be ashamed of himself. I think if you keep coming to the forum we can help you get out of the stall your in. As for the 2lbs that is great! It has broke the long time stall you have been in congratulations! We are hear for you, we will all help as much as we can :-D keep up the great work! -
Talk of all this hysterectomy got me thinking lol maybe you need your homones checked? I had a complete hysterectomy about 11 yrs ago and that is one of the reasons that I could not lose weight plus my bad eating habits and a few other things. Are you on HRT?
